Respond quickly The teacher does actions with the students. (show me your hands, clap your hands, give me five, play games ) 2. Play a game The students are divided into two groups, Group A and Group B. The teacher asks two students, who should point out the verbs on the computer, for each group to play the game. (【设计意图】:通过游戏让学生对英语学习产生更浓厚的兴趣,调动学生 学习的积极性,活跃课堂氛围。 ) Step 2 Presentation and drill 1. Lead-in The teacher shows the topic and the story. Then the teacher asks the students some questions about the story and leads the students to observe the words with letters al. The teacher teaches the sound, phonic rules and help the students to read new words with letters al. At last, the teacher chants the story with students. The teacher teaches the new sentence: Are we going to read stories? 3. Practice a. Listen to the record of Part A of Unit1 and tick the phrases you heard. b. Watch the video and read.
