The passage is mainly about the body language around the world. It introduces the different body language in d

2、ifferent countries. The writer try to let students realize that the body language is a part of culture. The structure of the passage is general dividing. In the passage, the writer use four aspects to explain the difference of the body language in these countries. 【学情分析】 1. Most students have alread

3、y known some body language that we use in our daily life, but they know a litter about the body language in other countries. 2. Most students have learned some useful reading skills, such as predicting, skimming, scanning, words guessing and so on. However, they still find it difficult to apply the

4、skills to their reading. 【教学目标】 1. Students will be able to understand the passage concerning body language and learn more about the differences in body language in different countries. 2. Students will be able to use correct body language when meeting foreigners. 【重点难点】 The teaching focus lies in u

5、nderstanding the body language of different countries. However, students may find it difficult to use these body language correctly because different countries have different body language, so it takes time to remember them. 【教学方法】 Communicative approach 【教学过程】 Stages/ Timing Activities Methodology

6、Before class (2mins) Play a video about the body language around the world Let students review the body language in unit1. Arouse their interest in learning the body language in this 2 class. Review& Leading in (5mins) Step1: Review Ask students the body language they have learned in unit 1. T: Good

7、 morning, everyone. Before the class we watched a video . (show the national flags) T: Can you tell me how can we welcome others in these countries? Ss: . T: We know people will shake hands to welcome others in America. So, what do you think of it? (Its _ to shake hands to welcome others in America.
