1、Module 8 Story time Unit 1 Once upon a time. 设计说明设计说明 本单元主要以对话形式展开,话题围绕金凤花和三只熊这个传统 故事展开。 通过童话故事训练学生的听说能力, 并让学生了解在英语中叙述 的事情要用一般过去时。 童话故事的情节容易引起学生的兴趣, 因此在教学 过程中,可利用故事的内容展开听、读、说的训练,并利用语境帮学生理解 一般过去时的意义和语法规则。 教学目标教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: : 1.1.知识目标:知识目标: 掌握单词和短语:hair, gold, forest, once

2、, upon, once upon a time, decide, go for a walk, basket, notice, all alone, dark, pick, pick up, soon, lost, around, little, towards, knock, door, answer, push, enter, bowl, hungry, right, finish。 2.2.能力目标:能力目标: (1)能听懂简单故事中的主要人物和事件; (2)能用一些规则动词的过去式描述过去的事情或讲一个故事; (3)能读懂简单的故事,明白主要人物和事件及情节的先后顺序; (4)能用一

3、些规则动词的过去式对故事情节进行描述。 3.3.情感目标:情感目标: 通过金凤花的故事, 学会选择最适合自己的; 通过阅读童话故事提高对 英语的学习兴趣,感受学英语的乐趣。 重点难点重点难点 重点:重点: 通过童话故事训练学生的听说能力, 让学生了解在英语中叙述过 去的事情要用动词的过去式。 难点:难点:让学生掌握动词过去式的形式并正确使用一般过去时。 教学准备教学准备 PPT 课件; 有关通话故事的图片, 如 白雪公主 、 睡美人 、 灰姑娘 、 美女与野兽 ;活动 1、3、6、7 的录音。 授课时数授课时数 2 课时 教学过程教学过程 Step 1 Warming-up 教学反思教学反思

11、begins: Once upon a time.这个故事开头是:从前 once upon a time 意为“从前”, 常用于一般过去时。 类似的短语有: long long ago 很久很久以前。这些短语常用作故事的开头。 Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Jenny. 从前,这儿住着一个叫珍妮的女孩。 2. She decided to go for a walk in the park with her basket. 她决定提着篮子去公园里散步。 (1) decide 作动词,意为“决定”,主要用法如下: 其后接名词或代词。 I c

12、ant decide the date of the meeting. 我决定不了这次会议的日期。 其后接动词不定式或“疑问词动词不定式”。 decide (not) to do sth.决定(不)做某事。 He decided to buy a car. 他决定买一辆汽车。 We cant decide when to start. 我们无法决定何时动身。 3. Oh, did she often go for a walk in the forest alone? 哦,她经常独自去森林里散步吗? alone 此处作副词,意为“单独;独自地”,在句中作状语,相当于 by oneself。 还

13、可作形容词,意为“单独的”,只能作表语,形容独自一人的状态,不含 感情色彩。 【链接】 lonely 只能作形容词, 既可作表语, 也可作定语。 修饰人时意为“孤 独的,寂寞的”;修饰地方时意为“偏远的;荒凉的” 。 When she is alone, she often feels lonely. 当她一个人的时候,她经常感到孤独。 4. And soon she was lost.很快她就迷路了。 lost 在此处作形容词,意为“迷路的”。be/get lost 迷路。 I always get lost in new places. 我在新地方总是迷路。 【拓展】 作形容词,还可意为“

(2) little 在此处用作形容词,意为“小的”,多用作定语,修饰名词。 There are several little

16、towns along the river. 沿河有几个小镇。 (3) hurry 在此处用作动词,意为“匆忙,仓促”,主要用法如下: “hurry副词/介词短语”意为“匆忙去”,hurry 习惯上不与 go、 come、move 等动词搭配使用。 He hurried home.他匆忙回家了。 hurry up 赶快。用于肯定句中,在否定句中通常不用 up。 He told us to hurry (up)他叫我们赶快。 6. She finished all the food in it. 她把里面的食物都吃完了。 finish在此处作及物动词, 意为“吃完; 完成”。 其后常接名词、 代
