1、Module 6 Directions(Period 4) Unit 12 I know the short cut! 一、教学背景分析一、教学背景分析 本课时是本模块第四课时,同时也是 Unit12 语篇教学的第一课 时,课型是新授课,主要学习描述路线的用语。本课篇幅较长,通过 学习描述到达电影院的两条不同路线,掌握 take the first/second left/right, walk through 等用语。在 Unit 11 学习中,学生已初步学习了 go straight ahead, turn right, turn,turn right at the.crossing 等指

2、路用 语,他们对问路用语有了初步的认识。因此,本课教学中,对课文进 行分层学习,通过以旧带新,通过对比让学生正确描述两种路线的英 文表达。 二、教学目标二、教学目标 (一)语言能力目标 1“四会”掌握以下单词: short cut, were, stand, watch, late, take(took), through, suddenly, believe,on time, did ,take the first right, 2、理解并能听说以下句型并熟练运用在口头表达中: We needminutes to get there. Turn left out of their house

Walk through the park. 3、看地图,能用核心词汇及核心句型口头描述到同一目的地的两 条不同的路线。 (二)思维品质目标 1、通过对课文的学习,培养学生乐于助人的精神品质,并会使用 相应的文明用语。 2、在地图的观察和描述中,培养学生的观察能力和思维能力。 (三)文化品格目标 通过本课的学习,让学生知道到同一目的地有不同的路线,学会寻找 最佳途径。 (四)学习能力目标 1通过 sharp eyes 形式,回顾以往学过的旧单词。通过大量听、
