Unit 11 I was born in January 一、教学内容一、教学内容: 本课的教学内容是 Unit 11 I was born in January 的 Lets talk,主要谈论的 话题是“生日的庆祝” 。生日派对是每个小朋友的一年中最开心的事情之一,学 生应该对学习内容的兴趣较浓。本课是 Module 6 的第四课时,以“听说”课型 组织教学。在前三个课时中,孩子学习了 12 个月份单词,My birthday is in句 型和生日活动等功能词组,如 cut the birthday cake, blow out the candles, give him a birthday present, give her a birthday card 等(在本课时之前,cut/blow out/give 等词是作了三会扩展词汇处理) 。本课时是在此基础上,学习 I was born in句 型,在情境中用动词 ing 形式描述生日活动,强化功能词的使用,进一步内化 语言。进行模拟情境的语言交际,让学生在交际中运用、巩固所学的语言知识。 二、教学对象分析二、教学对象分析: 四年级的学生一般都活泼好动,形象思维好。但本模块词汇量大,功能词 多,尤其是比较复杂的 12 个月份的单词学习,可能让学生对英语产生了一定的 畏难感。而且他们对旧知识的遗忘率较高,因此常常表达起来不是很流畅。创 设生日会的情景,营造融洽愉快的课堂氛围,有利于打破不敢说英语的心理障 碍。经过 Module5 的学习,学生基本掌握了现在进行时的结构,对动词 ing 形 式并不陌生。利用抽签的方式寻找小寿星,满足孩子们的寻求刺激的特点,增 进他们进行小组合作学习的热情。 三、教学目标:三、教学目标: (一)语言知识目标 1. 学习词汇 was born in, going on, 并在词汇课的基础上,加深对月份单词和生 日活动词组的理解和掌握。例如 blowing out the candles, cutting the birthday cake 等 2. 能运用以下句型进行交际: I was born in January/ February Whats going on? - We are having a party. 3. 能借助情境理解并复述或表演课文。 (二)语言技能目标 1.能用正确的语音语调朗读课文对话。 2.能在听说的活动中理解和运用本课单词、词组和句型,并能运用所学的语言 进行模拟交际。 (三)学习策略目标 1. 小组合作学习,积极交流,共同完成学习任务。 (四)情感态度目标 1. 乐于模仿,敢于开口说英语,积极与人交流。 2. 通过活动,培养学生参与课堂教学活动的兴趣和积极性。 (五)文化意识目标 1. 通过本话题的学习,学会祝福别人的生日,并养成礼貌得体的交际礼仪。 四、教学重、难点四、教学重、难点 重点:1.能正确理解并流利朗读课文。 2. (设计意图:又形象地学习 I was born in 句型,出示课文题目。) 2.提问学生,学生用 I was born in 说出自己的生日月份,根据学生的回答, 把男孩或女孩的头像贴到大日历中相应的位置。 (设计意图:操练 I was born in 句型,并为下边的情景创设做准备。 ) 3. 通过老师的个人信息、年龄、宠物,引出并教一月至八月单词。 4.
