S1: Helen Keller was born in the U.S. in 1880. T: How did Helen feel? S1: She felt very angry. T: Why? Please read the text from picture 1-3
5、 and find out this answer. S1: Because she couldnt see anything. She couldnt hear anything. She couldnt speak at all. T: Did her parents know how to help her? T: She couldnt see anything because she was blind. T: She couldnt hear anything because she was deaf. T: Why did Helen become deaf and blind?
6、 S2: Because when she was 19 months old, she fell ill and became deaf and blind. T: Now lets play a game “If I was Helen, I feel”. T: How do you feel? S1: I feel afraid. 12、课。课文内容里面包含一些生词需要学 生能够理解,同时故事内容蕴含着一些人生哲理,学生能够通过本节课的学习体 会到一定的道理。针对这两点我在设计教学过程的时候采用类比性思维方式。首 先以三个重要的时间为切入点介绍老师本人,一来可以引起学生的注意力,拉近 与学生的距离,二来能够引出并解决本课的生词 born 和 university,为后面学习 理解故事内容扫清障碍。在解决了生词后,引出海伦凯勒的三个重要时期生 病前, 生病后对生活的失望以及在老师的帮助下找到生活的希望,帮助学生理清 故事脉络为后面复述故事打基础。我以“时光机器”的形式将学生带入到海伦凯 勒的不同时期,然后通过教师提问、学生互问、情景表演、亲身体会等方式理解 故事内容。在学生回答问题的过程中我将关键词呈现在黑板上,为学生进一步复 述课文做铺垫。最后带学生穿越到海伦凯乐的故居,让学生以小组为单位介绍海 伦凯勒的生平,巩固复习本课的故事内容。通过本课的学习再结合有关拓展姚明 的一个小片段让学生明白“希望”对于人生历程的重要性。本课不足之处是教师 给予学生的自主学习性不够,课堂中掌控的东西过多。应该提出更多的开放性问 题由学生自主开动脑筋用英语进行表达。
