Show the word on BB and tell Ss how to pronounce this word: ri-c Remind Ss letter e no sound. Have Ss read this word one by one and in groups. 2. Teach the word bread with the same way. Tell Ss how to pronounce this word: b-rea-d 3. Put the rice and bread in a plate and show Ss: We have rice and bread. What do you want? Lead Ss say: I want for me, please. Put the sentence cards on BB and have Ss understand and read several time. Emphasis the meaning of the word “want”. III. Drills 1.
