Role-play the story Emma: Where is my pencil? Zeke: Here it is. Mr. Jones: Emma, is this your apple? Emma: No. Its not my apple. Emma: Hello. My name is Emma. Whats your name? Tess: Hello! Zeke: Hi! Greetings and review T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you? Nice to meet you. Teacher can ask questions like : 1. How do you feel? 2. Hows the weather today? 3. When is your birthday? (设计意图:通过教师和学生打招呼及师生之间的对话,帮助学生把注意力集中 到课堂中来,同时也给学生创造了轻松的学习氛围,帮助学生消除紧张感。又 复习了以前学习的知识,为以下的教学奠定良好的放松的心理基础。) Step 2. Song: Where is the mouse? Step 3: Game: Where is it? Teacher take a book and a pencil. Ask students to close their eyes. Then open their eyes and ask and answer questions like: T: Is this your pencil? Whose pencil is it? Ss: Its Miss Zhaos pencil. Now I will hide it. T: Where is my pencil? Ss: It is on/in/under the book. (设计意图:用小游戏来唤醒学生对以前知识的再现,为下一步的学习进一步奠 定基础。) Step 4. Presentation 大屏幕上出示 Little Zeke 躲在课桌里的图片,教师指着图片对学生说。 T: Look!This is Little Zeke. Where is Little Zeke? He is in the desk. Do you know whose desk is this? Lets watch the flash. (大屏幕播放故事) T: Whose desk is it? Its Emmas desk. Emma is a girl. She is Little Zekes friend. Can you guess what are they talking about? (先让学生猜一猜他们之间会有什么样的对话,打开学生的思路,让学生在 猜的同时加深对故事的理解。 )Lets listen. (播放录音,并鼓励学生模仿录音内容。) 接着,老师拿出教具(Little Zeke 的图片,边小结,边把重要句子贴在黑板 上。 ) T:Look, who put an apple on the teachers desk? (让学生看课文 flash, 回答问题并板书) Little Zeke puts an apple on the teachers desk. (幻灯片上出现图 4 内容,教师播放 Flash,让学生听对话,并同位之间进行 模仿练习并同位展示。) (幻灯片上出示 Tess 图片, 教师指着 Tess 说) T:Look, class. Do you know who is this? Yes, this is Tess. She is a new student. Look at her can you guess how does Tess feel? She feels sad and afraid. She hides behind her book. ( 教师在说出这些话的同时,应该注意点一下句子中的重点词汇来帮助学 生理解故事的大意。) 幻灯片播放剩下的 Flash 动画,要求学生认真听,并回答问题: 1. What does Little Zeke do? 2. How many friends does Little Zeke have? 教师板书,并做总结。 从头到尾再来看一遍 Flash, 目的在于让学生对整个的故事有一个总体的 理解。 Step 5. Role-play the story according to teachers dialogue. (幻灯片出示对话内容,老师拿出做好的头饰来进行角色表演的练习。 ) Step 6. Do the exercises and check the answers. Step 7. Class closing.
