B: My birthday is in _ . .Sing the song : The Months 冀教版英语四年级下册 教学设计 一 、学情分析 四年级的学生经过了一年多的英语学习,对英语的好奇心和兴 趣开始逐步从起步时的会读会说几个单词向会说会用的阶段转变。 大部分学生对英语有着浓厚的兴趣,渴望获得更多的知识,本课在 继续培养学生学习兴趣和听说能力的同时,采用符合学生心理特点 的教学方法和教学手段,坚持听说领先,有计划地培养学生的读写 能力,特别对于个别学习上有困难的学生,教师要耐心采取积极鼓 励的方法,创设生动活泼的课堂气氛,一调动他们的学习积极性。 二 、学习内容 本单元中,Li Ming 和他的英语老师 Miss Zhang 介绍一些关于 时间和描述天气状况的词汇。本课是整个单元中的第一课,重点学 习十二个月份单词和日期的写法,学生在第三册书中已经接触过, 因此学生并不陌生,但是由于这些单词都比较长,难记忆,我设计 了 chant、游戏、歌曲等活动让学生通过操练掌握 12 个月份单词, 让学生在玩中学,乐中记。 三 、教学目标 知识目标 1. 听说读写十二个月份单词。 2.运用 Whats your favourite month? Whose birthday is in July? 能力目标 引导学生积极参与教学活动,实现完成认知目标任务,培养合 作探究、自主学习、活学活用的能力。 情感态度目标 激发学生的积极情感,培养合作与创新精神,增强竞争意识。 教会学生在认知和经历交流的过程中大胆面对困难,在实践中得到 情感交流,凸现个性。 四、 教学重难点 1. 教学重点:听说读写十二个月份单词。 2. 教学难点:熟练运用 Whats your favourite month? Whose birthday is in July? 五、 教学准备 多媒体课件、月份卡片、四季图 六、 教学过程 I. Class Opening and Review 1. Greeting T: Hello, boys and girls. S: Hello, Miss Li. T: How are you today? S: Im fine, thanks. And you? T: Im very well, thank you. T: Nice to see you. S: Nice to see you, too. (设计意图:通过学生熟悉的问候语与学生进行交流,帮助学生寻 找语感,尽快进入英语课堂。 ) 2. Game: Say the Numbers. T: First lets play a game. Look! I have many number cards. Please say the numbers quickly! Team One, Team two, are you ready? Lets begin! S: One, Two T: (Show the card of “twelve”)What is it? S: Twelve. T: Good! This is twelve.(板书 twelve) (设计意图:此游戏旨在复习 1 到 12 的数字,同时也是为后面的 chant 作铺垫,并且最后一个数字停在 12,让学生动脑筋去想与 12 有关的事物,以旧带新,自然的引出新授内容。 ) II. (设计意图:将 There are twelve months in a year.这个句子在学月份 之前先板书在黑板上,让学生对月份有一个整体的认识。 ) T: Do you know the names of the months ? Today well learn them. (出示课件) (设计意图:运用课件中出现的节日台历教授月份单词,形象直观, 把月份和学生比较感兴趣的节日相联系,易于接受。 ) T: Look! Do you know which month it is? S: 1 月. T: January. New Years Day is in January. Ry pronounce / ri / .Read afte r me, please. S: T: (出示课件)This is the abbreviation(写) of the month. The names of the months are too long. So we can write the abbreviation of them. Pay attention, the first letter of the month should be big letter. (设计意图:通过摘苹果的游戏帮助学生掌握 12 个月份的缩写形式。 让学生自己操作电脑,调动了学生的学习兴趣。 ) 6. Sing a song: Twelve Months T: Listen. There is a song about month. Lets sing it together. (Play the fl ash.) S:(Sing the song : The Months) (设计意图:以一首月份歌曲来活跃课堂气氛,也是对本课新授内 容的一个小结,同时培养学生学英语的兴趣。 ) III. Class Closing 1. Knowledge Point: T: How many months are there in a year? S: Twelve. T:What are they? S:They are 2. Homework Collect the information of the months, and make a paper of them. (设计意图:本环节是教学的拓展,让学生去了解课本以外的东西, 了解西方文化,开阔学生的视野。布置作业让学生利用现代化的资 源自己去查询答案,让学生自己动手去查,比老师讲授印象更加深 刻,把查询结果办成画报展示给大家,学生可以从中体验到学习的 成就感。 ) 七、教学反思 本课的教授重点是 12 个月份单词,单词都比较长,难记忆,我 设计了 chant、游戏等活动让学生通过操练掌握 12 个月份单词。教 学中环环相扣,步骤紧凑,课堂密度比较大。 本节课我比较满意的地方有以下几个:首先在新课导入环节让 通过“Say Numbers”游戏拉近师生之间的距离,同时由数字 12 引 出“There are twelve months in a year.”这样自然的过渡到新授内容。 新授过程中加入了节日、天气等让学生来描述 12 个月份,这样不会 使学生感到枯燥乏味。Chant 的设计适合四年级学生的年龄特点,让 学生手、口、脑、眼并用,再次巩固记忆 12 个月份单词。通过找规 律填空帮助学生发现 12 个月份之间的拼写规律,帮助学生记忆单词, 教给学生一种记单词的方法。本节课如果只教授 12 个月份单词,课 堂容量小,学生会吃不饱,所以我从月份缩写和月份名称来历两方 面进行了拓展,拓宽学生知识面的同时渗透西方文化,并布置作业 让学生课下自己完成,让学生自主的学习,成为学习的主体。 本节 课同样也存在一些不足,一些遗憾。如“Before and After”游戏, 我设计意图很好,帮助学生记忆 12 个月份单词的顺序,但是考虑不 周,用词不妥;Finding Home 游戏由于前期铺垫不够,致使学生操 作中出现问题,游戏不顺畅;课上出现了语误,自身的业务素质还 需加强,驾驭课堂以及课堂应变能力还需要加强。
