Step 3 Story 30 图片环游, 深入理解故 事 Talk about the picture: She is mother dog. She is black. She has long ears. She is tall. Listen and repeat. Underline “is short”. Answer the Qs. Listen and repeat. Underline “can swim”. Activity3: Group work 5min Underline the words that describe the mother of the tadpoles. Listen and repeat pic4-7. Go through the key words again. Pic2: Who is she? What does she look like? Play the record and ask Ss to repeat. Pic3: Who is she? Is she short? Is she their mother? Play the record and ask Ss to repeat. Pic4-7: Ask Ss to work in groups of four to find out the other words that describe the mother of the tadpoles. Play the record of pic4-7 and ask Ss to repeat. Pic4: Can she swim? Pic5: Does she have big eyes? Sum-up: What does their mother look Activity4: Role-play 15min Work in groups of six and role play. like? Divide the Ss into groups of six and ask them to role-play. Step4 Extensi on 5min 学科延伸, 发散思维 Listen and repeat. Describe the changes of the tadpoles. Activity5: Put them into the right order Talk quickly in team. Play the record and ask: Do you see any changes? Ask Ss to talk quickly in team and put the pictures of the different phases of tadpoles into the right order.
