I want to go to Harbin this winter vacation . I can ski and make a snowman there . Min-jun Ji-eun Min-jun and Ji-eun are from Seoul of Korea. They love travelling . It is January. Min-jun and Ji-eun arrive in Beijing . They visit the Great Wall . In January , its winter in Beijing . Its cold . They wear coats . They feel good . Next they go to Kunming by train . Dianchi Lake in Kunming Stone Forest in Kunming Kunming is a beautiful city in Yunnan. Its like spring all the year round . (四季如春) There are many beautiful flowers in Kunming. There are a lot of places of interests in Kunming . 名胜古迹 Its like spring all the year round in Kunming . The weather is good. Ji-eun wears her sweater . She feels comfortable . They see the flowers and take photos there . In spring , they go to Thailand by plane . Thailand is a country in the northern hemisphere(北半球) . Its not cold all the year round( 全年) . Its warm in spring . Ji-eun wears her T-shirt . She feels good . They eat seafood in Thailand . Finally, they go to Australia in June . Its so cold . Its winter in Australia now . But they wear T-shirts . Min-jun and ji-eun catch colds . They want to go home . Northern hemisphere 北半球 Equator 赤道 Seoul Korea Southern hemisphere 南半球 Thailand Kunming Beijing Australia The season in the southern hemisphere and the northern hemisphere are opposite(南半球和北半球的季节相反). In June , its summer in Seoul(Beijing) ,but its winter in Australia .
