Lesson 8 教学设计 一、教学内容与分析 Just practice 本部分主要学习目标语言 There be 句型;通过师生、生生之间的阅读与练 习,There is a park near my home . There is a bank in front of my home . 学生自主感知、模仿、理解和体验,学会运用、表示方位的短语、单词 等从而在真实语境中进行交际。 主要目标语言: There is a 二、课前准备 1. 准备本课教学图片或 PPT、音频,以备新课和操练环节使用。 2. 学生准备自己家所在小区的简图,为开展小组合作学习提供材料。 3. 准备小区内设施图片,作为奖励表现出色同学的评价卡片。 4. 每小组准备一大张白纸,在设计理想中的小区时使用。 三、教学步骤与建议 1. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision) 1)熟读 Lesson 7 课文,学生试着说出 Susan 家所在社区一些建筑的方位位置。 2) 出示图片,引导学生试读本课的三会、四会句子。 2. 新课呈现(Presentation) 1) 整体呈现文本,突破重点单词 教师利用本课图片或 PPT,整体呈现 There is a bank in front of my home . There is a bookshop behind the bank . There is a beside near . There is a between and . Across the road , there is a . 2) 回顾小区设施,突破重点句型 教师帮助学生将小区内设施逐一回顾,并在黑板上用小图片摆出小区详图, 同时突破重点句型 There is/arenear/behind/beside/across,帮助学生 熟悉 There be 句型和表方位的介词。 3) 介绍设施用途,引发小组讨论 教师启发学生对陈列在黑板上的小区内设施的用途展开小组讨论,并发表 意见: T: There is a hospital, a bank,a park, a school in Susans community. Which one is the most important? Why? S: I think the hospital is very important. We can see a doctor there. S: I think the supermarket is very important. We can buy fruit and vegetables there. . 教师在学生讨论的基础上做出总结: T: Theyre all very important. For example, we often buy fruit, vegetables and other food in the supermarket. 3. 趣味操练(Lets talk ) 1) Chain game:根据范例,描述自己小区设施的位置 按照图片依次说一说社区内设施的位置,以此来巩固 There be 句型和表示方位 的介词,并尝试运用。如: T: There is a park near her home. S1, in your community, whats near your home? S1: In my community, there is a bank near my home. S2, In your community, whats near your home? S2: In my community, there is a lake near my home. S3, in your community, whats near your home? 2)根据图片内容以及所给出的方位词和建筑名称,试着运用所学句型。 eg:There is a bookshop between the hotel and the flower shop . Yes ,and there is a supermarket in front of the flower shop . 3)根据范例,描述自己小区设施的用途。如: T: Susan and her mother often buy fruit, vegetables and other food in the supermarket. What do you often do in a supermarket? S: I often buy food and clothes in it. . 依据课文描述 Susan 所在社区内设施的用途,学生小组讨论小区内这些设施还 可以帮助我们做什么,如我们在公园里可以放风筝,在银行里可以取钱等,以 此来发散学生的思维,并尝试用英语进行描述和表达。 4)教师带领学生们利用音频或本课课件重温课文,通过跟读、分组朗读课文方 式模仿音频语音、语调,再次整体回顾文本。 4. 语言运用(Language use) 1) 描述自己小区概况,尝试本课语言运用 学生根据课文来介绍自己小区的概况,并配以简图,同时描述要加上自己的思 想,初步尝试用所学语言进行表达。在介绍时教师要对学生语言表达的逻辑性 进行引导,如介绍的顺序可以由上至下,或由左至右,还可以以某一点为中心 进行介绍等。 2) 给同学小区提建议,为后续环节做准备 对刚才同学们描述的自己小区的概况提建议,如应该怎样布局更合理、应该增 加那些设施等,为后面拓展环节做铺垫。 语言范例: S: I think in your community, the hospital should be on the main road, so that people can find it easily. 5. Lets chant 1) To ask students find and read the words with “ed”. 2) To play the voice and ask students listening the chant . 3) To teach how to pronounce “d”. 4) To listen the chant again . 6.课堂评价(Assessment) (1) 评价工具:奖励卡片(正面为小区设施图片,二反面为单词) 教师在课前公布奖励办法:对于在课堂上表现积极和老师、同学互动,正确回 答问题,语音语调正确,声音洪亮或有突出进步的学生可以得到教师课前准备 的小卡片。得到卡片越多的小组在最后拓展环节制作的理想小区越实用、漂亮。 学生在获得评价卡时可自己挑选想要哪张图片,如 I want a river.此评价工 具不但能对学生起到激励作用,同时也复习巩固了所学过的单词,并且为后面 拓展环节的教学内容打下了基础。 (2) 课堂表现自我评价 除了教师对学生评价外,课堂上还可以增加学生自我评价。在单元刚开始 时发给学生下表,在本单元学习结束后,学生根据自我表现和学习收获进行自 我反思。 我掌握的单词和短语: 我掌握的句子: 我需要加强巩固的单词、短语和句子: 我的自我反思(课堂表现、作业情况、考试情况) 7. 拓展活动(Extended activities) 学生依据 Susan 的社区、自家小区概况的描述和在语言运用环节的讨论, 以小组为单位,利用得到的小卡片来建造理想中的小区,并用所学语言进行描 述。 在小组合作过程中,教师要关注每个孩子在小组内的表现,适时表扬表现突出 的同学,鼓励后进生在小组内积极参与,引导他们发挥自己的特长,同时注意 弥补自己的薄弱环节。组长要注意小组内同学的分工与合作。通过小组活动, 学会与人合作。 四、Home work A、 To read and write the words and sentences .
