Whats your name? 你的名字是什 么？ My name is Cathy. 我的名字是凯 西。 “Whats your name?” 是一个由what 引导的特殊疑问句，用来询问对方的名 字，其中whats 是what is 的缩写形式。 其答句通常是“My name is”或 “Im”。 2. Lesson 5:Where are you from? 教学设计 【教材剖析】 本课选自人教版小学英语（精通）教材五年级上，主要是通过情境会话，让学生重点 掌握时间的英文表达对于来自于哪 Where are you from?及其回答，家乡是学生最熟悉的内 容，学生要学会运用本课所学知识来表达时间。而本节课的难点是让学生怎么样表达具体， 教师要及时对学生使用错误的地方进行纠正。 【学生分析】 五年级的学生已经学习了日常用语的基本表达，学生经过三四年的英语学习，已经有 了一定的经验，具备较强的听说能力，对日常生活中各个场景所用句型都有了初步的了解， 能够在不同的场景中使用英语进行对话，在本节课中，学生的交际能力得到了充分的发挥。 但学生刚刚步入五年级，教师在注重听说能力的同时，也要加强对学生读写能力的培养， 使学生的英语能力得到全面的发展。 【教学目标】 1让学生掌握问国家所使用的语言：询问句子 Where are you from ? 及介绍朋友的表 达。 2. 通过学习让学生了解一些西方国家表达习惯。 3. 通过本节课的学习，从全方面让学生了解世界。 Preparation 1.
