Oxford English 3B M3 Unit 7 Hobbies Period 3 Ben and Bob 教学目标教学目标: 知识目标: 1、Enable students to master the words: dance, paint, read, sing, skate, swim 2、Students can use modeled sentences to describe hobbies: I like (doing) in (season). 能力目标: Help students to practice vocabulary and sentence patterns through pair work and group activities. 德育目标:Encourage students to cultivate a wide range of interests. 教学重难点:教学重难点: 重点: Help students master these new words: swim, skate, read, sing, dance and paint. 难点: Learners use modeled sentences to talk about their hobbies. 教学步骤:教学步骤: Step I. Warm up 1.Have a chant: Listen to a chant,then say the chant with teacher together. (通过有节奏的 chant 复习上节课的重点句型和动词,为下面的学习做好铺垫。 ) 2.Ask and answer What do you like?. 3.Ask the students to guess what does the teacher like? Lead in the key sentence: I likein .Read the sentences in groups. (通过和学生问答进一步复习旧知,让学生去猜老师喜欢做什么,根据课件的 图片直观感受,由短句到长句,初步感知重点句型。) Step II. Presentation 1.Lets guess: (1)Introduce two friends to students, ask them to guess what are they? Lead in the story, then enjoy the story together. (通过猜谜语的形式来引出故事的主角,吸引学生的兴趣,欣赏故事,泛读故事。 ) (2) Take out the task 1, ask the question: What do Ben and Bob like doing in spring and summer? Ask the students to listen to the part1again,then do it. (再听故事的第一部分,让学生带着问题去听和看,做到有的放矢,关注故事的 内容,完成任务一中的部分内容。在教材的基础上,加了一段 Bob 的话,拓展 了新词 carry, carrying,更有利于学生理解故事的寓意。 ) (3) Ask the Ss to complete the task 1, then read part 1 after recording, teach the new words: sleep ,sleeping, then read them as quickly as possibly in groups. (精读故事的第一部分,核对任务一,利用白板的聚光灯功能来介绍新词,学生 一看便知,结合学过的重点句型来操练新词,做到词不离句。 ) (4) Role play the part one in groups. (5) Have a competition in groups:Ask the Ss to make the sentences by the pictures one by one,each group only has 40 seconds,which one is the most quickly,it will be the winner. (利用电子白板的计时器功能进行一个比赛,将全班分成四组,每组 40 秒的时 间一个接一个来根据课件中的图片来说句子,哪组用时最少就是胜利者。游戏 可以调动学生的学习兴趣和积极性,同时又操练了重点句型。 ) (6) Take out the task 1 again, ask the question: What do Ben and Bob like doing in autumn? Ask the students to listen to the part 2 again,then do it. (再听故事的第二部分,完成任务一中的部分内容,进一步就故事的两个主角进 行对比。 ) (7) Ask the Ss to complete the task 1, then read part 2 after recording, teach the new words: work, working, then read them as quickly as possibly in groups. (精读故事的第二部分,核对任务一,利用白板的拖拽功能来教授新词,分组利 用不同的声调来操练单词,吸引学生兴趣。 ) (8) Have a chant together. (利用一段短小精悍的 chant 来教授worker,并拓展其他职业类名词,让学生发 现单词的共同点,提高教学效果。 ) (9) Teach part 3 and part 4 by the same way, teach “at home”, then read them together. (让学生根据故事发展来回答问题,完成表格,了解故事大意,并在语境中学习 新词和短语。 ) (10) Listen to part 5 again, lead in the emotion education: No pains, no gains. (第五部分比较简单,主要是让学生自学并体会,通过老师的提问来进行情感渗 透。 ) StepIII.Practice 1.Ask the students read the story together. 2.Pair work, ask the Ss to practice the story, then ask some pairs act out this story. (通过模仿录音读故事,同桌合作表演故事,增加阅读的趣味性,培养学生的合 作意识和自主学习的能力,同时也为下面的学习任务打下基础。 ) 3.Take out a passage about this story and five pictures ,ask the students to complete it. (将故事由对话改为短文的形式,关键词给出首字母的提示,让学生完成单词填 空,补完整短文,由读到写,再次体会故事内容,再次渗透情感教育。 ) Home work: 1.Talk about your hobbies. 2 .Read the story, Ben and Bob.
