What does do?并 能准确回答。学会用功能句 is a /an 表述他人职业。 过程与方 法 1、运用多媒体课件的图片,实物,单词卡片让学生学习词 汇,给学生直接的视觉印象,避免词汇学习的枯燥。 2、设计游戏和活动,让学生在快乐轻松的氛围中操练词汇. 教 学 目 标 情感态度 价值观 1、培养学生热爱生活,尊重他人的意识,引导树立正确的 人生观。 2、引导学生了解英语中职业名称的性别差异。 重点 四会词汇 难点运用词汇和功能句型进行实际交谈 准备1、词汇教学卡片 2、教学课件 课时 第一课时 教学过程 一、Warming up and leading in : 1.出示已经学过的单词: farmer,worker,teacher,driver,doctor,nurse 等, 通过句型 what is ?引导学生根据本部分的图片进行问答,逐一引出答案。 2.导入新课,板书课题。 二、Presentation : 1教授 pupil 。借助课件图片,选择班里一个学生: Who is this girl ?引导学生回答 she is What is she ? 引导回答 she is a student。 教师: she is a student in a primary school .she is a pupil ,too. you are all pupils.强调发音。 2.教授 basketball player 和功能句 who is that man ? 课件出示姚明照片。Who is this man ?what is he ?(he is a basketball player.)让学生看着单词卡片,说出更多的篮球运动员“is a basketball player,too.” 3.教授单词 actor,强化功能句型 who is that man ?并逐步引导出另一个功 能句 what does he do ? Who is that man ?( he is chenglong )he can act .what does he do ?( he is an actor .) 用醒目的颜色突出 or,并领读 actor. 教师继续提问 who else is an actor?引导学生说出更多的演员, is an actor.当学生 说到女性演员的名字时,教师适当拓展单词 actress。例如 zhaowei is a woman,so we should say :she is an actress.chenglong is a man ,so we should say: he is an actor . 4.教授单词 scientist . 课件出示袁隆平的图片。Who is this man ?(he is yuan longping.) he likes science ,and he is a scientist .what does he do ?用醒目的颜色 呈现 ist. 5教授词汇 police officer ,singer, reporter. 6.新词教授完毕后,教师可再用课件出示所有含有醒目颜色字母的职业 词汇,向学生讲解一般职业类词汇的变化规律:大部分表示职业的词汇是在 原名词或者动词后加 er,or,ant,ist,还有 ess 等后缀派生而来的,如 actor, actress, waitor,waitress,artist, accountant.其中部分职业是有性别之 分的。 三、Practice 1.播放录音,让学生听并跟读 lets learn 部分的词汇。 2.让学生自由记忆单词。 3.通过学生的表演和问答活动来进一步巩固本节课所学的新单词。 四、本节课的目标句型:Whos ? What does do?的学习。 1.多媒体再次呈现人物职业的照片,引出本节课的目标句型:Whos ? What does do? 并讲解与 What is ? 的同义句关系及相应的回答 He s / Shes a/an . 2.多媒体再次呈现不同职业人物的照片,用本节课的目标句型: Whos ? What does do? What is ? Hes / Shes a/an .来进行问答猜 测活动,强化对目标句型的操练。 3. 活动:Interview(采访)your partner(伙伴) the three questions : (1)What does your father do ? (2)What does your mother do ? (3)What are you going to do ? 五、拓展 出示图片,了解 Touching China 中的人物李玲和王万青,为下节课的学 习进行预习。 六、Homework 1.搜集表示职业的词汇。 2.用所学句型和词汇进行交谈。 3.上网搜集李玲和王万青的相关资料。 板书设计: Unit 3 Whos that man? What is he? = What does he do? He is a/an.
