One of my all-time favorite memories as a kid was playing in my back garden. I played the role of Indiana Jones with my younger sister as my assistant and my brother as a ba

5、d person. We used everything in our garden, from the path to the fence, as a part of the storyline to create troubles that needed to be overcome, and we would keep the story going for hours! My personal favorite game was searching the Easter eggs. My brother hid small chocolate eggs around the garde

6、n and my sister and I had to find them by answering questions or solving a puzzle. It was difficult, but finally we found all the eggs and shared them together. 1. 9、 Halley was an English scientist who lived over 200 years ago. He studied the observations of comets(彗星) which other scientists had made. The orbit of one particular comet was a very difficult mathematical problem. He could not figure it out. Neither could other scientists who dealt with such proble

10、ms. However, Halley had a friend named Newton, who was a brilliant mathematician. Newton thought he had already worked out that problem, but he could not find the papers on which he had done it.
