Unit11 Western festivals 单元整体教学设计 一、教材分析 1.语法 本单元涉及到的语法知识有一般现在时。这个时态是学生在四 五六年级时都学过的。本单元的教学目的是学生能够根据语境灵活、 综合复习巩固和运用这个时态。 2.结构 本单元教学内容由一个对话、一个故事、一个 Make and say、 一个歌谣及语音学习栏目组成。 3.功能 介绍西方重要的传统节日。 4.单元教学目标 能在语境中正确运用本单元的核心句型和词汇,复习已学相关 核心词汇。 能简单介绍复活节、万圣节、感恩节和圣诞节,包括节日日期和主 要的活动等。 了解英语中的连续现象,并在朗读或说话时正确处理需要连读的音。 了解西方主要节日风俗文化。 二、学情分析 本单元所涉及到的语法知识虽然都是学过的,但一到综合运用时学 生就容易混淆、分辨不清,语言表达经常出错。因此新授前的语言 交际或者说是铺垫很重要。最好是创设一个真实的情境,根据这个 情境设计一系列的问答练习,让学生真正体会到时态的含义和用法, 强化学生的思维、辨别和语用意识。 三、课时分配 根据单元教学目标,将单元教学划分为三课时 课时一: Listen and say, Look and learn 课时二:Make and say, Learn the sounds,Sing a song. 课时三:Read a story 课时三教学设计 教学版块: Read a story 教学目标 1.能读懂故事鲁道夫的大红鼻子 。 2.通过故事,复习巩固相关语言知识,培养学生阅读技能,帮助学 生正视自己的独特之处。 3.通过单元任务,帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识和技 能,描述自己最喜欢的节日。 教学重、难点 1.词汇学习:laugh at 2.日常用语: Is that you? 教学过程 Pre-task preparations 1.和学生做快速反应游戏。出示各个西方节日的图片,学生马上说 出对应的名称。 2.播放 Sing a song 的视频或录音,学生跟着录音唱歌,活跃课堂 气氛。 While task procedures 1.用多媒体或教学挂图出示 Read a story 的图片 1,让学生阅读文 字,然后回答问题。 (1)What did Rudolfs nose look like? (It was big and red) (2)Did Rudolf like his nose?Why? (No, he didnt because his friends laughed at him.) (3)What did Rudolfs friends say about his nose? (They said his nose was funny) 然后让学生阅读第二至第五段,填空完成下面的段落。 2.播放故事视频或录音,让学生观看动画或听录音,提出自己不懂 的句子或单词,教师给予讲解。让学生完成 Read a story 的后续练 习,然后全班核对答案。 3.通过引导性问题和学生讨论故事蕴含的道理。最后的结论可以让 学生用中文表达。 Post-task activities 1.学生分组演出课本剧,全体学生评出最佳表演奖,最佳演员以及 最佳语音奖。 2.在前一课时留作业,让学生课后完成练习册第一部分的 Think and write 表格。完成此作业可能需要家长的帮助,查阅农 历日历以及参考网上信息。 板书设计 Unit11 Western festivals laugh at bright Oxford English 11 Module 4 Things we enjoy Period 3 Sing a song 25th December Talk and share Talk and share Talk and share How do people celebrate Christmas?
