But the mouse is very small. 教师强调 big 和 small 。 此时，教师可播放动画课件, 将鼠标移到 elephant 的图案上，图案 elephant 的下面出现单词 big 。将鼠标移到 mouse 的图案上，图案 mouse 的下面出现单 词 small。用同样的方法学习 short 和 long。 注意：单词 small 中 l 的发音，教师提示学生舌头要上卷。 （4）完整播放动画, 学生跟读学习单词; 教师也可关闭声音, 让学生看动画读 单词。 （5）播放 Lets learn 部分的录音，手指单词跟读。 3 趣味操练 (Practice) （1）教师将 Lets learn 部分的单词卡举起，带读，学生以“开火车”的形 式练习。如果可能，可以让学生拼读单词。图：s-m-a-l-l small, etc. （2）Lets do 部分的内容。 a. 教师播放 Lets do 部分的录音，学生边听边说边做此部分的活动。 b. 教师使用 Lets do 部分的动作图卡，让学生看图说图卡上画的是什么动 物做的动作。 c. 学生再次听录音，鼓励学生说出指令内容，同时请几个学生上台前表演动作。 （3）游戏：耳语。 把学生分为 56 组，教师向每组的第一名学生耳语一个指令，如： Tall,tall,tall! Make yourself tall. 这名学生依次向组里的第二名学生耳 语这个指令。以此类推，直至最后一个学生。最后这名学生快步跑道讲台根据 指令做动作，谁又快又正确就为他们组赢一分。然后，每组的第一名学生站到 队尾。 4 课堂评价 (Assessment) 做活动手册本单元 36 页的练习，方法和步骤同以前。 5 扩展性活动(Add-activities) 让学生说说有关动物类的单词，如：panda, kangaroo, duck, cat, dog, giraffe, elephant, monkey, mouse, rabbit, tiger 。 随后，让学生分小组将自己准备好的动物玩具拿出，形容动物。如：The giraffe is very tall. The elephant has a long nose. 还可以告诉学生， 颜色词也是在形容事物，鼓励学生将一种事物的样子和颜色都说说，如：The panda has two black eyes.
