This lesson is about sentence structure: sb+be+doing-present tense.? we can communicate with friends :-What a
3、re you doing? I am cooking. -What is she/he doing?She /He is dancing/skipping. About the students The students are in Grade 5. They are interested in new things. After learning English for many years, they can use some simple words and sentences to communicate with each other. Even they can write do
4、wn some simple sentences. They like to act.They like to show themselves. Teaching aims The aim of knowledge: 1. To learn and master the sentence structure: sb+be+doing. 2. To use the sentence structure correctly. I am v-ing.She/Heis v-ing.They/ We are v-ing. 3. Master the rules : How to add -ing aft
5、er verbs. The aim of ability: 1. Develop Ss abilities of listening ,reading ,speaking and writing. 2. Encourage students to enjoy learning with partners. The aim of emotion: Students feel success in class. They love English. Key points: 1. They can use the sentences structure correctly. I am cooking

Part IIITeaching Procedures Step 1. Preparation Simple greeting Divide the students into groups.Each team
8、gets a tree,if they did good job,they can make their tree more beautiful. Play a game:I show you say (Teacher shows pictures and students say the words.) (PPT pictures: running/swimming/ fishing/reading/ writing/ dancing/ eating/singing) Play a game : Simon says! (Purpose: To form a surrounding for
9、the Ss by reading pictures and games, it not only can review the words which we will need in this class but also can arouse Ssinterest in the class.) Step2 .Presentation PPT: teacher shows a picture of Lin Zhiying(林志颖) and give a simple introduction.Then teacher shows another picture of him which co
10、vered a part . And ask students to guess What is he doing now. Lead like this: T: Look! This is Lin Zhiying.Is he handsome? He is very busy. Can you guess: What is he doing now? (If students cant answer,I will lead more,like this)Is he dancing? Is he driving? Maybe. Lets ask him: What are you doing

Show two pictures (fishing/boating) and point to them,say: T:You are the boy/ girl. What are you doing? Pair work (并排两人): one ask, one answer (two pictures:playing football
13、boating) Show two pairs. What are you doing?I am. Lets play a game : Lucky Eggs!Ask students to choose the eggs and follow it. Teacher will give an example. 2.) Show a picture of girlA.And ask her, what are you doing? StudentA: I am writing. T: (Teacher points toA, ask the others.)What is she doing?
