Do you know.? The Summer Festival in Albania is on March 14. It is as the same as the Spring Festival in China . On that day, people hold celebrations in the street to welcome spring. It is lasted for a week . On March 13 , people begin to prepare “New Years Eve Dinner” . They usually roast turkey and burn the whole sheep. They eat Ballakume on that day. They also eat walnuts, figs, apples, papayas, honey and so on; In the evening, people have a big dinner together. After dinner , they go out to watch the cultural performances until late at night. The old grandmother stayed at home to keep watch and put the flowers and green grass on the bed of each one, so that nature could bless them in the new year.
