Reading puzzle Monday Sunday One apple three plums Saturday Wednesday Tuesday Thursday Friday two pears four strawberrie s five oranges a piece of green leaf Many snacks (小吃小吃) Homework Retell the story after class. 12 34 The very hungry caterpillar egg tiny big, fat cocoon butterfly 1 小学五年级英语绘本阅读教学反思 英语绘本作为辅助材料应用在英语教学中能有效提高学生阅读 效果。英语绘本阅读能够有效地激发学生的阅读兴趣和动机,体验 愉快的阅读经验并养成良好的阅读习惯;能有效扩大学生的词汇量, 押韵和重复的句型利于英语语感的培养;能够帮助学生运用有效的 学习策略,从而提高阅读理解能力;丰富的教学活动能够在巩固阅 读效果的同时,使学生体验到阅读的乐趣。作为教材的补充和延伸, 英语绘本可以与教材进行多种多样的有效整合,以实现教学效益的 最大化。 绘本教学是近一、两年才开始在本市开展起来的,绘本阅读课 对于我们开平市的学生而言, 是比较陌生的。 本绘本讲述的是毛毛虫蜕变的过程,内容涉及到一周七天和多 种食物的单词;句型有:On Monday, he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry.本课的教学对象是五年级学生,他们在四年级已 经学习过一周七天:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 及句型:What do you do on Saturday? - I play basketball on Saturday. 而且他们经过两年多的英语学习,已经有一 定的英语基础,加上思维导图的帮助,学生应该能容易地读懂绘本 的内容。 下面是我的教学反思: 2 本节课的教学设计是:在 warm-up & lead-in 部分先出示毛毛虫咬 过的苹果,让学生猜 Who ate through the apple?引出绘本。首先,向学生介绍绘本的封面,包括题目、作 者等。接着,在 presentation 部分,通过播放视频,先让学生整体 感受绘本的内容,再进行各部分细读。每部分我都设计了思维导图 作为工具,帮助学生理解和记忆绘本的内容,让学生模仿例子,填 写思维导图。这部分对于我们的学生而言,似乎有点难度,特别在 Saturday,毛毛虫吃了 10 种食物,学生一下子填那么多内容,确实有 一定的难度,或者我改为填补缺失的单词可能会收到更好的效果。 通过整体的学习,我利用图片拼图对毛毛虫的成长过程进行总 结,这部分如果能让学生自己进行操作,那就更好了。在 Reading puzzle 这部分的练习中,原本的设计是,把拼图都剪出来,让学生 们以拼拼图的形式进行小组合作完成,但由于资源的限制,最后还 是以连线的形式完成了,收到的效果一般。 整一本绘本围绕的主要句型是:On Monday, he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry.每部分我都设计了毛毛虫变大了,but he was still hungry.但就是忘记了总结毛毛虫为什么吃了那么多东西,还是 饿呢? 第一次尝试绘本阅读教学,收获很多,感想也很多!在往后的 教学中,还需要继续努力,认真钻研,争取更大的进步! 1 小学五年级英语绘本阅读教案 一、教材分析: 本绘本讲述的是毛毛虫蜕变的过程,内容涉及到一周七天和多 种食物的单词;句型有:On Monday, he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry. 二、学生分析 本课的教学对象是五年级学生,他们在四年级已经学习过一周七 天:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 及句型:What do you do on Saturday? - I play basketball on Saturday. 而且他们经过两年多的英语学习,已经有一定的英语基础,加上思 维导图的帮助,学生应该能容易地读懂绘本的内容。 三、教学目标: (一)知识目标: 1、了解有关食物的单词; 2、掌握句型如 On Monday, he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry. 3、能读懂绘本内容。 (二)能力目标: 能读懂绘本内容,并能根据图片思维导图复述毛毛虫蜕变的过 程。 2 (三)情感目标: 通过绘本的学习,让学生感知毛毛虫蜕变的过程,感受生命的 奇妙,从而提出倡议:Animals are so lovely. We must protect animals! 四、教学重点: Understand the growth process of the butterflies and learn the new words of the food. 五、教学难点: Learn the new words of the food. 六、教学过程: Step 1 Warm-up 1. Greetings 2. Show a bad apple. Ask: Look at the apple. Is it good or bad? Who can eat through the apple? Can you guess? Show a picture: caterpillar 3. Lead-in the book Step 2. Presentation 1. Talk about the cover of the book. 2. Read the story: play the video (让学生整体感受绘本的内容) 3. Read each part. Use the Mind-map to remember the important points. Lead the students to complete the mind map in Task 1.(引导学生学 3 习使用思维导图进行内容的总结。 ) 4. Learn the words of the food. 5. Use the Mind-map to understand the whole story. Step 3 Practice Finish Task 2. Use the reading puzzle to check the students understanding. (Reading puzzle 对于学生而言,新鲜、有趣,通过这 个练习,总结了绘本的内容,提炼了绘本的主干,令学生更加容易 理解所学的内容。) Step 4 Sum-up Sum-up the growth process of the butterflies.
