如何在故事教学中培养学生的思维能力 英语故事是培养学生思维能力的重要载体，这主要的原因是小学生喜欢看故事，其跌宕 起伏的故事情节最能吸引孩子的注意力，她们有了解故事内容的欲望和行为，自然需要运用 联想，预测，提问等思考策略了解故事。其次，故事本身就是一个完整的语境，孩子能在完 整的语境中通过图片和文字信息获取故事的大概意思。因此在故事教学中，教师需要抓住学 生的兴趣点。其次，通过问题设计和任务布置，引导孩子运用相关的思考策略与故事文本对 话，与内心世界对话，在互动对话的过程中加深对故事的理解。 下面通过五年级上册 Unit 1 Seasons and Weather 的故事课反思论述故事教学中如何培养 学生的思维能力。 第一、故事内容的处理和课时安排。 本单元故事的内容主要讲解 Tony,Jenny and Gogo 在 hang glider 上体验了四季的变化。 由于孩子对四季和天气话题比较陌生，没有足够的语言积累，因此本课作为本单元的第一课 时，充分利用学生的好奇心理，孩子能通过故事形象生动的配图和简单的对话的语境中能较 好的掌握四季单词和相关单词，为下一节词汇课做好充分的准备。在处理故事时，我采用运 用故事书的形式展开故事教学。首先给故事起一个名字和设计一个封面，充分激发学生的好 奇心和学习欲望。学生通过封面的了解故事人物、时间和地点，接着故事内容一页页铺开， 任务挑战由简单的图片环游到进入文本学习，让孩子逐步了解故事。 第 2、故事教学中每个活动设计与思维紧紧相扣。 1. 通过故事封面和标题让学生大胆预测故事内容。 本故事我设计为一本故事书，封面上有 Tony,Jenny 和 Gogo 在滑翔翼上，让孩子了解故 事的人物和猜测在滑翔翼上将去哪里，激活孩子已有的知识，做好学习的准备。故事标题为 A Magic Day, 人物表情都很开心，通过问题“ Why the books name is A Magic Day , but not a Happy Day 或者 A Nice Day，促使孩子大胆的猜测，并激发学生想去了解故事的欲望。 2. 通过图片环游培养学生观察图片的能力。在完整故事图片呈现时让学生整体感知故 事。 五年级孩子的思维仍处在形象思维到抽象思维过渡期，形象思维还是占主角。因此，我 设计了图片环游的活动，把故事图片放大，以此增强孩子的注意力，让孩子能观察到图片的 每个细节，并能轻松比较每张图片的不同之处，培养孩子的观察能力和比较能力。此外，我 将在故事图片环游与讲述方式相结合，让孩子在老师所创设的故事语境中初步感知故事的内 容，在讲述过程中潜移默化地让孩子在情境中学习新词，为接触真正的文本阅读扫除障碍。 3. 通过观看故事视频，学会抓取关键词，培养孩子获取信息的策略。 前面图片环游的环节时已给孩子留下深刻的印象，学生已经理解故事的主题为四季，但 不清楚那几个单词是四季，它们的读音又是怎样的。带着这个疑问，老师带着学生一起观看 视频，孩子的注意开始从图片关注转到对文字，在众多信息中学生能根据问题找出故事中出 现的四季单词，并能将四季单词贴在相应的图片中。这个活动不仅让孩子通过视频提供的声 音和文字学习到四个季节的表达，同时在故事情境中理解到四个季节的词义。 4. 通过阅读故事文本和观察故事图片，继续培养孩子的观察能力，掌握多种获取故事 信息的方法。 当孩子了解四季的表达后，孩子自然就想了解这四个季节的天气和景色自然。我鼓励孩 子自己尝试读故事，并完成表格相关的信息。表格信息分天气和景色。由于孩子刚从四年级 过渡到五年级学习，需要老师在阅读方法方面的指导，所以我把春天这一栏的天气和景色作 示范，指导孩子读第一幅画的故事，并圈出天气和景色的词语，此外我还鼓励孩子挖掘文字 以外的图片信息，让孩子说出更多信息。有了老师的示范，剩下的三个季节则让孩子自主完 成。通过学生的完成和回答情况，我发现孩子不仅能回答出说出文本的相关信息，同时也说 出了文本以外的信息，夏天能说出吃雪糕，游泳，沙滩和大太阳的相关表达，秋天能说出秋 天放风筝，风大，骑自行车等信息，冬天能说出滑冰，穿哪些衣服等信息。孩子精彩的回答， 让我非常吃惊，孩子不仅能说出到图片所隐藏的信息，还能结合自己的联想以及对四季的体 验说出了更多丰富的信息。孩子在回答的过程中体验到了愉悦感和成功感，不仅如此，孩子 在以后的阅读中懂得根据图文以及自己的经验来获取信息和理解信息。 5. 通过板书总结和概括做好信息积累，训练学生思维的逻辑性和语言表达能力。 故事教学中，为了便于学生记忆故事和讲述故事，我把故事分四季、天气和相关景 色进行解构，通过图表方式对故事进行总结和概括，在复述过程中，通过提供句子解构， 引导孩子运用相关句型进行复述，把故事前后加上变成了完成的故事复述。学生在复述 过程中加深了故事内容的印象，也懂得有条理性的表达。 6. 通过 big book 的制作活动拓宽学生的思维，激发学生的想象力和创造力。 故事学习完后，学生学习的积极性和热情依然能保持，可以看出孩子对故事非常感 兴趣，接着我引导孩子学生一起制作属于我们自己的故事书，于是我把一本大大的故事 书拿给学生看，孩子们立马想去读，但我说需要你们把故事的内容填进去，把原有的故 事增加了人物的对话，让故事更加丰富和有趣。整个活动学生的回答一个比一个精彩， 一个比一个的句子表达丰富，让我感叹学生的想象力和创造力是那么的惊人。教师只要 把课堂的自主权留给孩子，让孩子在愉悦轻松的氛围下让学生充分表达，让个体思维得 到充分发展，在发散与拓展中培养孩子的思维的创造性和想象性。 Unit1 Seasons and Weather story reading A Magic Day Who are they ?
