Do a survey: What are your families going to do this weekend? 1 Module 4 Unit1 Were going to tell stories.教学设计教学设计 一、教材分析一、教材分析 本模块的话题是发出庆祝生日活动的邀请。本单元的课文情境是 Amy 发给 Lingling 的生日邀请函,她要过 11 岁的生日了。Lingling 问 Amy 打算如何庆祝, Amy 说要和大家一起吃午餐,妈妈会给她做蛋糕。Sam 说午餐后大家会一起讲 故事,Amy 接着说随后会去看电影。这时 Ms Smart 提醒孩子们在做这些事情 之前要先帮她整理屋子,孩子们愉快的答应了。语言学习任务是运用已经学过 的“Im going to”结构描述计划并发出邀请。 二、学情分析二、学情分析 五年级学生的年龄在十一到十二岁左右,虽然处于高年级学段,但仍然活 泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维和抽象思维相结合,对游戏、竞赛、画画还有兴趣。 大部分学生对英语有着较浓厚的学习兴趣,但也有少数学生由于遇到困难,学 习兴趣会随之减弱。尤其从这学期开始,对学生又提出了新的要求:培养听、 说、读、写的技能。所以教师应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终 把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方 法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。五年级学生还存在着学习方法和学习策略经验 不足等问题,但他们却有着极强的求知欲强和表现欲。课上应该多以表扬为主, 注重对学生英语学习兴趣的培养,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、认真想。 三、三、 教学目标教学目标 1. 知识目标 (1) 学生能够掌握四会单词和句型结构。 New words: stories、 invitation、tidy up Sentence structures: What are we going to do? Im going to read a book. How about you? S1: Im going to Ss: Hes/ Shes going to 设计意图:复习”be going to”结构的各个人称。 Step2 Lead-in T: This weekend, Im going to read a story book. Im going to tell stories. (Teach “story- stories”) T: Do you like stories? T: Today, Lets learn the new lesson: Module 4 Unit 1 Were going to tell stories. (出示课题) Game:Listen and say. (快速说出故事的名字) 3 Maliang Long long ago, there was a good boy. He had got a magic paintbrush. He helped poor people with the magic paintbrush. Wolf is coming. Long long ago, there was a boy. He looked after sheep. But the boy was bored. He shouted:“ Wolf,wolf, come and help!” Amy 11 years ago, a beautiful girl was born in England. These are her family. Her parents: Ms. Smart and Mr. Smart. Her brothers: Sam and Tom. Who is she? T: Yes! She is Amy. T: Her birthday is coming. Shes going to be 11. 设计意图:通过游戏猜故事的名字激发学生兴趣,引出课题,理解“tell stories”的同时,自然引出课文内容。 Step3 Presentation T: Ive got an invitation from Amy. Shes going to have a birthday party. Do you want to go with me? T: Who can read “invitation”, Ill give it to you. 学习操练“invitation”: 全班,小组,分音节读 in-vi-ta-tion,个人,读对获得请帖。 将词放入句子中,词句子长句: InvitationIts an invitationIts an invitation for birthday party. T: Wonderful! All of you can go with me! Lets go! 设计意图:通过多种方式操练单词“Invitation”,突破难点,由词到句,在语境 中操练理解词汇。 Text learning: T: What are we going to do? 1. Listen and answer: 4 (板书) What are we going to do? Were going to have lunch together (板书)After lunch tell stories And then see a film Before that tidy up Game 全班操练后,将全班分为 4 个小组,每个小组代表一个词组,进行词组操练。 Do and say. Grammar. be going to+动词原形 I 用 am, you 用 are, is 用于她他它,单数 is,复数 are。 设计意图:通过对课文知识点的进一步分析,归纳“be going to”的用法。 3. Make a plan. Discussion: Lets have a picnic. What are we going to do? Were going to Make a plan: Picnic Plan Were going to have a picnic. Were going to buy some food. Were going to fly kites. Were going to . Write a plan: There are three themes: Picnic, Party, Sports Day. Four students a group, choose one theme and write your plan. 设计意图:以小组为单位制定一个计划,先讨论,再写下来,提高学生口语表 达能力的同时,训练书面表达能力。 Step5.Summary T: Make a plan before you do it! (做每件事之前要学会制定计划) Step6. Homework 1.
