Section B(1a-1d)教学设计 ILearning aims: 1. Master the usage of Attributive Clauses. 2. Learn to talk about their favorite movies, book or band with attributive clauses. 3. Learn how to study with others by working with others. II Important and difficult points 1.Learn to use attributive clauses to express their favorite things. 2.It may be a little difficult for them to decide which introducers to use. III Teaching procedures 1. Revision and leading-in (1) Lead in by apiece of exciting music. After watching, have free talk with students to lead in the subject and target language. T: Do you like the song? Ss: Yes T: Why? Can you use what we have learned last periods. Ss: I like music that I can sing along with/ I can dance to. (2)Introduce the subject and learning aims to the class and point out the learning key points of this period. (3)Review by guessing game. Students tries to speak out the answers according to teachers description. A: Its a useful thing that you often use to surf the internet. Can you guess? B:Compuer. A:Bingo! Then show some other things or people to ask students guess or ask them to describe the things or people according to the pictures. They should try to use attributive clauses. (4)Let them think about the sentences above. Help them review the key points of Attributive Clauses. 2. Presentation (1)The teacher writes the target language on the blackboard. (3)Lead-in the listening of 1b and help Ss understand the instruction of 1b. Show the picture of 1b and ask them to describe the picture and guess what they will hear. Listen for the first time and write three things that Michael likes in the first column of the chart. Then check the answers together. Ask them to listen again to write why Michael likes each things in the second column of the chart. Listen for the last time to let them check their answers. Finally, check the answers together. 3. Pair work (1)Let them make up their conversations in pairs to talk about what they like according to the chart they filled in 1a and the listening of 1b and 1c. A: Whats your favorite?
