Next, show some pictures and ask Ss to talk about table manners in China. then, I divide the reading tasks into three steps:pre-reading, while-reading and post-reading. Ss master the main idea of the passage and each paragraph, and Ss practice their reading skills after finishing the tasks. The whole process is smooth and and I finish the teaching aims.It is a pity that some Ss have no chance to take part in the class activities and the atmosphere is not lively enough.
