Lesson 9。本单元的话题是“Festivals”,引导学生谈论中外 节日日期的表达方式、传统文化等。本单元提供了厨房、美术馆、公园等场景并在这 些场景中学习使用“When is the.?” “Its on the. . ” “Can you tell me more about.? ” 与他人讨论中国传统节日的日期和习俗。本课位于本单元的第一课时,提供了 Sara 和 Lingling 体验做月饼这样一个情景,在做月饼时 Sara 和 Lingling 讨论中秋节的 相关知识,这是一个非常生活化并能较好调动学生参与的话题。 2 2学生情况分析:学生情况分析: 本课授课对象为五年级学生。经过几年的学习,五年级的学生对于英语学习有了 一定的了解与认知,学生在三年级时已经学习了本课中出现的询问日期的句型“When is .?”“Its . .”,以及用序数词表达日期,如“eighth”“fifteenth”等,但是中国农 历的日期在英语中的表达方式是本课中出现的新语言现象。因此,本课的学习需要教 师充分利用情境,促进学生对相关语言知识的感知、理解、准确掌握直至恰当运用。 3 3教学方式与教学手段说明:教学方式与教学手段说明: (一)小组活动学习法 把全班分成 10 个小组,课堂各项教学活动均以小组活动为主线,结对或全班活动 为辅,学生互相交流、探究,共同完成学习任务,在合作中感受学习英语的乐趣及交 流的意义,也通过小组成员之间“荣辱与共”的关系而形成同步学习的环境。 (二)情境教学法 给学生不断创设各种真实的场景,促使学生说英语。 (三)课堂评价主要以鼓励性评价为主 课上恰当使用激励性评语和小组奖励“月饼”的方法,让学生渴望成功的心理得 到满足,这也是激励学生积极投身英语学习的一个最简单而有效的方法。老师操作起 来也比较方便。 4 4、技术准备:、技术准备: 教学课件、月饼评价卡 3 5 5、前期教学状况、问题、对策等研究说明:、前期教学状况、问题、对策等研究说明: 五年级学生的年龄在十一到十二岁左右,虽然处于高年级学段,但仍然活泼好动, 喜欢直观形象思维和抽象思维相结合,对游戏、竞赛、画画还有兴趣。大部分学生对 英语有着较浓厚的学习兴趣,但也有少数学生由于遇到困难,学习兴趣会随之减弱。 尤其从这学期开始,对学生又提出了新的要求:培养听、说、读、写的技能。所以教 师应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位, 引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。 五年级部分学生还存在顽劣和懒惰倾向,上课溜号,爱搞小动作、课下作业完成 不及时的坏毛病,学习效率也较差。针对这种情况我采取趣味教学的模式课上多为学 生创设练习语言的环境,尽量努力吸引学生的注意力,以便更有效地激发他们的学习 兴趣,而且课下我经常找机会和他们聊天、交朋友,帮助他们转变厌学思想。 教学目标与重点、难点 1 1、教学目标:、教学目标: (1)学生能够理解对话内容并正确朗读对话。 (2)学生通过“guessing game”“role-play”“ask and answer”等活动能听懂、会 说、认读中秋节 the Mid-Autumn Festival、重阳节 the Double Ninth Festival、元宵节 the Lantern Festival、端午节 the Dragon Boat Festival 等专有词汇。 (3)学生能够运用句型“When is the. ?”询问中国节日的日期并用“Its on the.in the Chinese calendar .”正确回答;能运用“What do you eat?”及“Can you tell me more about .?”对中秋节的特色饮食及传统活动进行交流。部分学生能运用所学语言对重阳 节、元宵节、端午节等节日的特色饮食及传统活动进行问答或描述。 (4)学生通过本课的学习能够了解和区别中国四个传统节日的日期、特色饮食及传 统活动。 2 2、教学重点:、教学重点: (1)理解对话内容并正确朗读对话。 (2)运用“When is the. ?”询问中国节日的日期并用“Its on the.in the Chinese calendar .”“Can you tell me more about .?”谈论中国传统节日如中秋节、重阳节、元 宵节及端午节的日期、特色食品及传统活动。 3 3、教学难点:、教学难点: (1)理解短语 Chinese calendar,get together,enjoy the bright full moon 的意思。 4 (2)运用所学语言选择性地描述传统节日。 教学流程图 Flow Chart of Teaching 教学过程 Step 1:Warm up and lead in(5 mins) 1.“Guessing game” 教师出示被挡住一部分的图片,让学生猜测是什么。(月饼) T:Look at this picture.Can you guess what is it?
