Unit4 What can you do? Part C Story time Teaching aims and requirements 1、能读懂 Story time 部分的趣味故事。 2、能认读单词 tasty,snake,rat,silly,throwinto。 3、同桌合作能表演故事。 Teaching difficult points and focus 重点:能够读懂并且表演故事。 难点:能够根据故事的情节续编故事。 Prepare for teaching 1、老师准备教学课件、班班通设备。 2、学生准备蛇和老鼠的头饰。 Teaching of new lesson I .Warm up 1、利用班班通播放课件歌曲“What can Bob do?”学生跟着 播放内容唱并做 Jump、Swim、Ride a bike 的动作。 2、听完后回答老师的问题 T: What can Bob do? S1:He can jump. S2:He can swim. S3:He can ride a bike. II .Preview 1、老师带生一起复习句型“What can you do?并学生对话。 T: What can you do? S1: I can play football. S2:I can draw pictures. S3:I can wash my clothes. S4: 2、让学生猜老师会做什么。 T:Do you want to know what I can do? T:Guess. S1:You can play basketball. S2:You can speak English. S3: 我利用课件展示图片自己会做什么。 I can play football. I can cook. I can row a boat. III. Presentation 1、利用课件展示故事的第一幅主情景图,让学生知道故事 情境和两个主角,并且利用课件教学生认读单词 snake,rat,tasty。 2、出示故事的第二幅情景图,并播放录音,让学生讨论 What can the Rat do for the Snake? T:What can the Rat do? S1:The Rat can sing. S2:The Rat can dance. T:Can the Rat swim? Ss:No ,he cant. 3、依次讲解故事的故事的第三、四、五段,教学词组 throwinto,并且核对上面总结的结论,The Rat can sing and dance,but cant swim. 4、出示故事的最后一段,教学 silly 这个单词。 T: What can the Rat do?(学生讨论并且回答) Ss:The Rat can sing、dance and swim? T:The Rat can swim,but why did the Rat say“Dont throw me into the lake,please!”Think and discuss. 学生讨论并一致得出结论:The Rat wants to run away. 5.Give a name for the story. 学生讨论并回答 S1:The snake and the Rat S2: A clever rat S3: A silly snake S4: 6.利用班班通放故事录音,学生跟读。 给学生三分钟同桌分角色读故事。 全部分角色读故事,一二两组读 Snake 部分,三四组读 Rat 部分。 IV. Consolidation and extension 1、表演故事,给学生三分钟时间准备,然后分小组上讲台 带上事先让学生做好的头饰展示表演故事。并给优胜组给 予奖励。 2、让学生续编故事(鼓励学生用英语来表述) 。 V. Homework 1. Read and act out the story. 2. Continue the story on your homework.
