Is he helping his parents? 看动画回答两个问题：在这一家庭中谁帮了父母，谁没帮父母？解决问题后，追问他们各自都做了什么。层层递进，并让学生进行发散性思维训练，周六下午 Mike 的父亲做了什么？让学生在学习课文的过程中，逐渐会用新句型。最后吃完晚饭后，Jim 的妈妈打电话来询问 Jim 迈克一家人在干什么，学生利用所学句型同桌编对话，通过展示可以检查学生是否真正学会今天的内容。最后教育学生在家要主动帮父母做事，学习谚语：众擎易举！
