Happy5.Whats the hamster and the mouses idea?_.A.Run away B.Make a big crocodile C.CryAAB*DrawDraw a a picturepicture ofof youryour room.room.thenthen describedescribe whatwhat thethe peoplepeople areare doing.doing.画一画自己的房间,并用现在进行时画一画自己的房间,并用现在进行时的句式给爸爸妈妈描述一下画面中的的句式给爸爸妈妈描述一下画面中的情景。情景。Goodbye boys and girls! 剑桥小学英语JOIN IN四年级下册第六单元第四部分The monster教学案例 一、教材分析:本节课是剑桥小学英语JOIN IN四年级下册第六单元第四部分,本单元共 6 个部分,分 6 课时完成,第四部分属于故事教学部分,主要是对现在进行时的一个综合运用,培养学生的听说能力及表达能力。本节课内容新知不是很多,生词有 living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen,句型有:In the bathroom a hippo is having a bath.In the kitchen the rabbit is washing the dishes.Whos knocking?关键是怎样通过已知引出新知。本班学生前面已基本了解了现在进行时的用法,掌握了现在进行时的构成:主语+be+动词 ing 形式。对于知识间的灵活运用有待提高,希望表演部分对学生兴趣的培养有一定的帮助。二、教学目标制定(包括重难点)【知识目标】:1.学习和掌握重点词汇:living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen2.正确使用句型:In the bathroom a hippo is having a bath.In the kitchen the rabbit is washing the dishes.Whos knocking?3.给故事设计一个合理地结尾。【能力目标】:1.理解故事,并能在情景中进行简单交流。2.掌握现在进行时的构成:主语+be+动词 ing 形式。【情感态度目标】1、让学生在交流中心表达自己的思想,学会欣赏,在合作中增进同学之间的友谊。2、在故事中找到学习的乐趣,体验英语学习中的美。【重点】:1.理解故事大意,有感情地朗读故事。2.掌握现在进行时的构成及用法。【难点】:故事中重点句型的实际运用及相关知识的表达。三、教学过程: 教学过程我设计了 6 个部分:Step 1.Warming up1、Free talk:Good morning.How are you feeling now?This class Ill devide 2 groups, if you answer the question correctly and actively, you can walk a step, which group get home first, you can get a present.2、Sing the song -The animals summer party.全体学生唱歌。【片段设计意图】此环节先是几个简单的日常交际用语 How are you today? What day is it today? 及唱歌 The animals summer party.歌曲一直是学生喜欢的一种学习形式,学生容易接受,对培养学生对英语的学习兴趣很有帮助,同时也起到了对知识的梳理与巩固的作用。3、In this song, the lion and the duck are dancing, the hippo and the fox are wearing purple socks, the cat is swimming. Now, lets look and guess. What is the pig doing?(The sheep is having a bath.) What is the cat doing? (The chicken is washing the dishing.) What are the pandas doing?(They are riding a bike.)紧接着是学生看图片猜单词。【片段设计意图】在这个环节中,教师设计了新颖、有趣的图片。尽量启发学生的想象力,挖掘更多的动词。学生由被动的回答到主动的思考,思维更活跃。在揭晓答案的那一刻,学生很有成就感,也从中体会到了成功的乐趣。Step 2. Presentation1. Teach bathroom. Bath + room = bathroom T: What can we do in the bathroom? S: I think we can . Teach : have a bath wash my face/hands (We must wash my hands before meals.) 【片段设计意图】 教师首先呈现的是 bathroom,故事中河马在洗澡,由此延伸在浴室里还可以干什么,教授 wash my face/feet. 2. Teach bedroom. Bed + room = bedroom T: What can we do in the bedroom? S: I think we can .Teach : read books sleep 3. Teach living room. T: What can we do in the living room? S: I think we can .Teach : watch TV ,drink, eat, play games, listen to music.4. Teach kitchen T: What can we do in the kitchen? S: we can .Teach : wash the dishes , do some cookingAt the weekend, wu should help you parents with wash the dishes.【片段设计意图】紧接着用相同的方法教授 living room, bedroom, kitchen。此环节的主要目的是为了引出故事中的四个新词 living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen。我分别采用了直观教学法和构词法。我通过直观的图片来介绍了这几个词。如:bath + room = bathroom bed + room =bedroom 同时运用启发式教学法拓展本节课的教学内容。如:What can we do in the living room/ kitchen/ bedroom/ bathroom? 学生通过思考会想出很多很多的词组,为后面的教学做了很好的铺垫。在这个过程中,顺势教授新词 wash the dishes , do some cooking.教授新单词时,要强调升降调,并及时板书出来。Step 3 Presentation 首先,介绍本节课的课题 The monster 并板书课题。Today well learn a story-The monster.T: Do you like the monster?S: No, I dont.We dont like it. Maybe it can help you today.【片段设计意图】大家都不喜欢怪物,认为怪物很可怕,远离它.也许今天它就会帮助你,为后面的教学留下了悬念。故事环节分三部分完成。Part 1look , listen and answer the questions. How many animals are there in the story? Who are they? (big animals and small animals) Whose house is it?Look and read and act.Who want to act rabbit, mouse and hamster.【片段设计意图】第一部分内容简单,首先提出上面几个问题,让学生带着问题边听边看,快速的融入到故事的情节中。回答问题后再听录音,边听边跟读,让学生在听读,跟读中模仿人物的语音语调,然后表演,看谁能表演、模仿的更像。表现好的同学可以得到小星星以鼓励。语感的培养在小学英语教学中是至关重要的,它对于孩子学习兴趣的持续培养起着重要的作用。设计此环节的主要目的就是培养学生的语感。 Part 2 This is the hamsters and the mouses home, but a week later when they come home, what do they see? Lets look and listen. Then answer the questions.1. What is the hippo doing in the bathroom?In the bathroom a hippo is having a bath.2. What is the lion doing in the bedroom?In the bedroom a lion is watching TV.3. What are a snake and a fox doing in the living room?In the living room a fox and a snake are playing table tennis.4. What is the rabbit doing in the kitchen?In the kitchen the rabbit is washing the dishes.How is the rabbit feeling now? (sad ,angry and tired)【片段设计意图】第二部分是故事的核心部分。一周后,hamster and mouse 回家了,他们看到了什么呢?先看、听故事第二部分,回答问题。学生回答后立即板书句子。与前面的板书整合,构成本节课的重点展示。然后让学生齐读重点句型,巩固加深印象。Part 3T: When the hamster and the mouse see some big animals in their house, what are they feeling now?S: They are very sad/ angry/ scared.T: if you are the hamster and the mouse, what can you do?S: lets run. Lets call the police.Lets hide. Let s dress up as a monster. Thats a good idea.【片段设计意图】假如你是 hamster, 看到此情此景,你会有怎样的感受,你会怎么办呢?这是故事的第三部分,让学生谈谈自己的感受并启发学生想出多种方法夺回自己的家。You are so clever , do you want to know how the hamster and the mouse do?Lets look and listen. What do they do?【片段设计意图】孩子们想了很多办法,如跑走,躲起来,叫警察等等,但是故事中用的是什么方法呢?让学生带着问题听故事,揭晓故事的结局。是什么帮助了 hamster and mouse?原来是 a crocodile.大动物们把它当成了 monster,此时可怕的怪物帮助了小动物们,正好解答了前面的悬念。T: Who is knocking?Teach: knockT: Is it a crocodile? Open your books turn to page 129.They are the hamster and the mouse. How are the hamster and the mouse?S: They are clever and brave.Lets listen and read the Part 3.【片段设计意图】故事上到这里,要掌握的知识已基本结束,为了检验学生的学习效果,我设计了以下几个选择题.先小组讨论,然后分角色表演故事第三部分Step 5 ConsolidateChoose and write 1.The mouse and the hamster are going to have a holiday, but the rabbit must(必须)_. CryStep 6 Act the story.【片段设计意图】首先在小组内分角色练习故事,然后请多组学生表演故事。鼓励学生设计不同的故事结局,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高他们获取信息和组织语言的能力,培养他们团结合作的学习精神。最后教师总结When we are in danger, dont fight blindly, use wisdom to protect ourselves.Step 7.Homework Draw a picture of your room, then describe what the people are doing.画一画自己的房间,并用现在进行时的句式给父母描述一下画面中的情景。【片段设计意图】作业的布置是课堂的延伸,让学生不但要会读、会说、更要敢读,敢说。新颖的作业让学生觉得作业不再是一种负担,而是一种享受。四、板书设计: The monsterIn the bathroom a hippo is having a bath.In the bedroom a lion is watching.In the living room a fox and a snake are playing table tennis.In the kitchen the rabbit is washing the dishes.Whos knocking?该板书先呈现单词,再呈现句子。简洁,分层呈现,重点突出。五、教学评价: 我主要从以下几个方面谈谈本节课的教学评价。第一、对教材做了灵活的处理,注重了知识间的整合与拓展。如在浴室里,除了可以洗澡,还能干什么?假如你是 hamster,你会用什么方法赶走那些大动物呢?第二、我设计了多种学生感兴趣的语言活动,学生通过看、猜、听、读、说、唱,等多种形式,参与、体验、实践语言,逐步提高了语言的综合运用能力。我采取了听、读,学生问与答,小组合作,表演等形式,在教学过程中以小星星作为奖励,使他们在学习过程中不断体验进步。第三,尽量创设真实的语言环境,尽量设计新颖教学流程、尽量设计巧妙的板书,使学生在不知不觉中就掌握新知。在这节课中,也存在许多不足之处,如教师放手不够,学生自主学习的机会还不是很多,在今后的教学中我将不断改进我的教学方法,学生乐学了才是教学的真正目的。
