First, students are asked to read the whole passage within 3 minutes and try to find the key words to fill the blanks in Exercise 1. This task aims to cultivate students ability
7、 of skimming. Second, students are supposed to read the passage for the second time within 3 minutes and try to make a correct order for sentences in Excercise 2. Task 2 will be completed through pair word and it aims to improve students ability of scanning and information processing. Third, student
8、s will read the passage together one more time to get a clear picture of what happened to this boy today.Post-reading:Students are encouraged to do a survey within 5 minutes in their groups to find out what their groupmates did last weekend and write down what they find. Then each group sends one st
