The part of 1a is a general introduction of four events in order to encourage students to think of more events. The l
5、istening part of 1b requires students to listen and circle the events after they listen to a dialogue. The listening part of 1c needs students to listen and fill in the calendar. The last part is designed to ask students to describe Johns calendar.The analysis of learning conditionThe students are f
6、rom Grade 7 in junior high school. As junior high school students in Grade 7,they have only achieved a small number of words and phrases and they only have the ability to use the limited number of sentences to talk about the dates or events. So it is very important for the teacher to input the targe
7、t language gradually and set enough examples for students to follow. They are familiar with the topic of the dates about birthday and know some events like ball games. But they may not know how to make their own calendars or even describe the events in their calendars before, especially use differen
8、t adjectives. Moreover, their vocabulary is limited so they may have difficulties in understanding some sentences. Event, trip, calendar are the new words in this part.According to such specific factors that students have great trouble in memorizing special days and they are unwilling to communicate
9、 more with their parents at the period of their ages, the reviewing part from pre - listening designed by the teacher is to help students pay more attention to the special days.
