By the end of September, Wolf Warrior had earned more than 5.6 billion yuan, breaking Chinas alltime box office record, set last year by Hong Kong comedy The Mermaid. Wu Jing, 43, both starred in and directed Wolf Warrior , whose prequel (前传 ) earned 525 million yu

On August 7, Yuan Renguo, president of Kweichow Moutai, congratulated Wu Jing on his success in an open letter on the companys website. “The movie has hit a new record and become a phenomenon, ” Yuan wrote. “The movie is now synonymous (相同的 ) with patriotism. But other nutritionists argue that cutting out whole food groups such as grains is just not a good idea. “I would recommend anybody to

16、 eat lean meat and raw vegetables , ” says Toni Steer of the MRC human nutrition research unit at Cambridge. “But what youre asking people to do is cut out a food group which is good for your health.” Archaeologists say its not even clear exactly how much of the various foods people actually ate dur

17、ing the Stone Age. “There was no one Stone Age diet; diet s of the past varied greatly, ” says John Gowlett, an archaeologist at the University of Liverpool who also attended the conference. Prehistoric people in Africa probably ate less meat than many people think, he says, while those in the north

18、ern, icy areas were forced to eat only whatever animals they could catch. “Im not convinced that we know what Stone Age man ate , ” agrees Andrew Millard, who researches ancient health and diet at Durham University. “The evidence we have only suggests the meat component of the diet. We get bones fro
