3、Everybody gets the day off for it.This year,my parents and I joined my uncles family for a tomb sweeping day in the mountain.It was an enjoyabe and exciting experience for me.The festival is held to honor the dead or to satisfy the ancestors.A family must visit the tombs of them and make sure they a
4、re in proper order.So we had some flowers,wine and some food prepared and took some tools,like a pickaxe.When visiting the tombs,we first swept away the dirt and got rid of weeds.Then adults offered varieties of food,wine and flowers in front of the tombs.After that,they lighted incense and all of u
5、s prayed for the ancestors.I saw my parents looking serious and sincere.Qingming,which means“clear and bright”in Chinese,marks the beginning of the planting season and outdoor activities.The day is also common in Chinese nations.All family members went on spring outing.It was great fun.We enjoyed gr
