(2) 能了解以下语法: The Present Progressive Tense 2. 情感态度价值观目标:情感态度价值观目标: 通过对本单元的任务性活动,目的是能培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活 动的积极情感,乐于合作,培养学生团结合作的精神 二、教学重难点教学重难点 1. 教学重点: 1) The Present Progressive Tense 2) What questions Yes/No questions and short answers 3) Learn the

3、new language points. 2. 教学难点: 现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音, 能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行 的动作。 三、教学过程三、教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Greetings Step 2 Lead-in and presentation 1. Lead out the new phrases and target languages. E.g. T: Whats this S: Its a newspaper. T: What is he doing? S:Hes reading a newspaper. (Help him/h

4、er to answer.通过课件上的图片,引出目标单词,由单词,到词组,以 chain drill 的形式操练目标语言) New phrases: reading a newspaper, making soup, listening to a CD,etc. 2. Play a game: 图片闪现游戏,stand up and say the phrases Show the pictures quickly on the screen and let students stand up and say the phrases quickly. 通过在 大组进行竞争游戏,让学生在紧凑的环

5、节中,活跃课堂气氛,巩固所学目标语言。 3.Show some pictures to the students to present the sentence structures: . T: Look at the picture and answer my question. What are you doing? 引入目标句型:What are you doing? Im reading a newspaper. Etc. 通过师生问答,操练目标语言。在句式练习中,巩固新词组,体悟现在进行时的语境。 Pair work A: What are you doing? B: Im What

6、 are you doing? A: Im . talking on the phone, exercising , using the computer, making soup 给出对话框架和备选动词词组。降低操练的难度,本着小步子,低台阶,快节奏的原则,让同学 们熟练掌握目标语言。 3. Show students other pictures and ask the question like below. T: What is he/she doing? S: He/ She is .(找程度较好的同学回答这个问题,起到示范作用) 先两人一组,操练目标语言。再以 pair work

7、的形式,给出对话框架,操练目标语言。 pair work A: What is he/she doing? B:He/She is What is he/she doing? A: He/ She is (这次的对话练习,给出图片提示词组,再次在句式中巩固目标词组,比起直接 给出词组,这样的提示,增加的难度。在对话练习时,增加纠错竞争环节,增加学生听对话的认 真度,课堂效率更高,更能注重现在进行时的句式) 4. 操练第三人称复数句式 T: What are they doing? S: They are 5. Group work:(通过四人小组合作的形式,可以让学困生在组员的帮助下,更好的参

8、与练习, 培养学生的合作意识,又在情景中学会使用现在进行时) A: What are you doing? B: I am What about you? A: I am C: What is she/he doing? D: She/ He is What are they doing? C: They are. What are they doing? D: They are. 6. Match Work on 1a. Students match the activities with pictures. Then read the phrases together. Step 3 Li

9、stening 1. Work on 1a. T: What are Jenny, John, Dave and Mary doing?Now lets listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a. After listening, answer the questions in sentences. Q: What is Jenny doing A: She is watching TV. Q: What are Dave and Mary doing? A: They are listening to a CD. (这

10、一环节改变了课本听力的要求,更好的巩固了目标句式。) 2. Work on 2a; T: Jack and Steve are talking on the phone. What are they doing now? Listen to the conversations and match the answers with the questions. 3. Work on 2b. Let students read the conversation in 2b first. Then play the recording for them. write down the words i

Step 4 Summary and conclusion 1. 通过展示现在进行时的句子,让学生通过小组谈论,总结今天学到的句式和时态(注重学生小 组学习,小组合作意识的培养)T: Look at the sentences on the scree, what can you find? What are you doing? Im watching TV now. 13、 shop-shopping take-taking write-writing begin-beginning 2.先小组讨论 :现在进行时常见的时间标志,再教师总结:now, look, listen, etc. 3.用所给词的适当形式填空(学案 P12) 1. The girls _(dance) now. 2. Look, he _(play) computer games. 3. Listen, who_(sing) outside? 4. Its nine oclock. The students _(have) an English class. 5. Whats the boy doing? He _(swim). He looks happy (在语境中,学习现在进行时) Step 6 Homework: Read 2d after the tape and sum up three different kinds of present progressive participle.
