1、Whats the best movie theater? 教材分析: 本单元 Whats the best movie theater?是围绕 adj 和 adv 最 高级,对 clothes store,restaurants 和 supermarkets 展开的教 学,本单元教学内容选择贴近学生的题材,目的是引发学生进行大胆 的交流,了解他人的喜好,树立正确的消费观你,树立正确的人生价 值观。 学情分析: 通过 sectionA 的学习,学生对于比较级已经有了一定的基础,且 已经基本上掌握。在此基础上学习最高级应该不会太难。 课程目标: Knowledge aim: Students c

Ability aim: Students can improve their reading and speaking abilities. Emotional aim: Students can express themselves in publ

3、ic bravely and cooperate with their classmates. 重难点: Students can get the main idea and detailed information of the listening material. Students can use new words and sentence patterns correctly in their daily life and can have confidence in speaking English in public. 教学过程: Step 1Warmingup After gr

4、eeting with the students, I will show some pictures about the movie theater with the help of the multimedia. By doing this,the atmosphere of the class will be warmed up and students will pay their attention to the class. Step 2 Pre-listening I will write some new words and phrases on the blackboard

5、such as comfortable seats, best sound, buy tickets quickly and close to home, and tell the students the meaning of these new words and phrases. I will ask students to read the new words after me. Then ask students “whats the best movie theater in your mind?” Let them talk about this question freely.

6、 This step can clear off the obstacles and help students learn new content better. Step 3 While-listening I will play the tape twice. For the first listening,students should find out the main idea of the dialogue. When they finish listening, I will ask a student to tell us the answer and give him/he

7、r praise. Then they will listen to the tape again and answer the following questions:Whats the quality of Movie World? Whats the quality of Town Cinema? Whats the quality of Screen City? I will choose some students to answer and also give them praise. This step can help students get the main idea an

8、d basic information of the material. Students can understand listening material clearly. Step 4 Post-listening After listening activity, students has known the main content of the dialogue. Then I will let students to make new dialogues. One student asks “Whats the best movie theater?” and one stude

9、nt answers and gives reasons. Then change their roles. When they finish, I will choose some groups to perform their dialogues in front of the class and give them praise. This step can help students practice the new words, phrases and sentence structures they have learned in the class and strengthen

10、their confidence to speak English. Step 5 Summary and homework I will ask a student to be an assistant teacher to conclude what they have learned today and adds some points he or she forgets. After class, students should write a short passage about their favorite movie theater with the new knowledge.This step can help students consolidate what they have learned today. VII.Analysis ofblackboard design At last is the blackboard design, this can help them master the rules and the key points. This also can help them make the notes.
