Lets try Lets talk)教学目标1.能够听、说、认读单词和短语fell off, Labour Day, mule, Turpan,could, till;能听懂Lets try版块的听力内容,独立完成练习;能听懂并用正确的语音、语调朗读Lets talk版块的对话;能熟练运用句型“Where did you go over your holiday? I went to”“What did you do? I .”进行交际问答。(语言能力)2.通过对话学习了解新疆的风土人情,如天山,葡萄等。(文化意识)3.通过

2、给出的介绍框架及提示图片,能复述对话内容。(思维品质)4.在学习活动中,逐步提升合作学习的能力。(学习能力)教学重点1.能理解和掌握本课时的单词及部分动词的过去式;2.理解重点句型,并能运用过去式谈论假期活动。教学难点运用句型“Where did you go? What did you do?”询问并回答有关假期去过的地方及做过的事情。教学过程设计意图Step 1 Warm up&Lead in通过歌曲,营造轻松、活跃的课堂氛围,并引入假期的话题。同时利用日历,帮助学生理解劳动节的英文说法。再通过询问五一假期的经历,引导学生自由发言,自然引入本课时的话题。 Warm upSing the s

Lead in1.PPT呈现日历图,教师结合日历图,让学生理解Labour Day holiday的概念。T: Look at the calendar! Whats the date? S1: Its May 1st. T: Yes!

5、tion&Practice利用情景图引入Lets try部分的主题。教师引导学生在听前先预测,并学会在听中捕捉关键句。仔细听录音完成练习后,带领学生整体理解听力文本,帮助学生理解重难点词汇及句子。通过看视频回问题等多个任务逐步引导学生学习Lets talk部分的对话。借用图片,帮助学生理解重点词汇,从而准确理解对话,了解新疆的风土人情,拓宽视野。多层次的输出练习,让学生真正掌握对话内容。 Presentation(对话学习)Lets try1.PPT呈现Amy和John打电话的情景图,教师交代背景,让学生预测听力内容。T: Listen, there is a phone call. 6、is phoning? Ss: . T: Yes, John had a phone call with Amy. Why did Amy give a phone call to John? Can you guess?Ss: .2.教师让学生阅读Lets try版块,然后播放音频,学生听录音,打勾或打叉。然后师生共同核对答案。3.教师提问:Where is John now? Where is Amy now? Why did Amygive a phone call to John? 再次播放Lets try版块的音频,学生听录音,回答问题。然后师生共同核对答案。4.PPT呈现听力文本,

7、教师带领学生阅读并标注解题关键句。然后播放音频,学生模仿、跟读。5.PPT呈现关键句“What happened?”,引导学生说出关键短语“hurt my foot”。Lets talk1.PPT呈现部分主情景图,教师介绍背景并提问:John hurt his foot. He didnt go to school. Did Amy go to Johns home? What happened to John? 让学生猜测。 2.教师提问:What happened to John? What are they talking about later? 播放Lets talk部分的视频,学生

8、看视频,回答问题。随后师生共同核对答案。3.PPT呈现John劳动节去新疆旅行的图片,教师通过提问要求学生猜测:What did he do? Can you guess where he went? 4.利用图片介绍Mt. Tianshan和Turpan的风土人情,教读Mt. Tianshan和Turpan。5.教师继续提问:Where did John go over his holiday? What did he dothere? 播放Lets talk版块的音频,学生听音频,回答问题。随后师生共同核对答案,在此过程中帮助学生理解本课时的重点句型。6.PPT呈现Lets talk版块的

9、对话,教师带领学生阅读对话,逐句讲解,标注并解释新词汇和句子,教读fell off, mule, could, till。然后播放音频,让学生跟读。7.PPT呈现三张图片及三个短语,让学生看图片,进行匹配连线。8.PPT出示马和骡子的图片,让学生知道骡子和马外形很相似,提问:Which is a mule? Which is a horse? 学生辨认并回答。教师教读mule,并加深学生对句子“It looks like a mule.”的理解。 Practice1.PPT呈现挖空后的短文,让学生阅读并填空。然后教师引导学生齐读,同时出示答案进行核对。2.PPT出示参考框架及提示图片,让学生复

10、述John的五一假期。Step 3 Consolidation&Extension学生通过小组问答谈论自己假期去的地方和做的事情,提升英语表达能力,学以致用。 1. Talk about your trips. 四人小组活动。教师提问学生关于他们假期去的地方和做的事情:Where did you go over your holiday? What did you do? 师生对话后,让学生在四人小组内进行对话,然后邀请几组学生进行展示。(此处教师可依据班级实际情况提供更多假期做的事情的单词和短语,帮助学生开展活动) 2. Exercise 学生完成单项选择题,教师请学生代表说出自己的答案并解

12、 Ask your friends where they went on holiday and what they did.教学反思本课时是一节语言交际课,谈论的是学生感兴趣的旅行。从现实生活劳动节旅行问题导入,再过渡到课本内容的学习,最后回归谈论旅行经历。整体内容由浅入深、层层递进,以问题为导向,引导学生观察并预测,培养学生的思维品质,然后设计不同的教学活动,引导学生多方面输出。而巩固部分,让学生分组谈论旅游经历,提高学生的口语表达能力,真正地内化语言。板书设计Unit 3 Where did you go?第一课时 fell off the Labour Day Turpan mule could till Where did John go over hisholiday?
