3、efore yesterday, the day after tomorrow, weekday. 2). Let students make different refusals according to different reasons. Write a short passage about the reasons why you cant accept others invitations. Teaching Steps: Step 1. Lead in. 1. Greeting and enjoy a song Seven days of the week. 2. Get stud

4、ents to read twice by reviewing the days of a week. Step II. Presentation. 1. Show the teaching aims of this period. 2. Review how to accept or refuse an invitation. 3. Free talk: Make an invitation to your friends, get them to accept or refuse them. 4. Teach the new words and phrases: weekday, the

5、day before yesterday, the day after tomorrow, . Then play gameLook and say to review the days. 5. Finish 1a and 1b. Then check the answers. 6. Ask and answer the date or the day in 1c. Step III. Consolidation. 1. Listen to 1d and circle Vince can or cant play tennis with Andy. 2. Listen and match Vi

6、nces activities with the days in 1e. 3. Listen more. Listen again and fill in the blanks. Vince cant play tennis with Andy. He has to go to the _ and study for a test today.
