1、1 Unit6 Section B (1a-1e) New Years Resolutions Teaching Material: 2 The general design: I. Analysis of the teaching material Unit6 Section B 1a-1e 是本单元的第三课时,围绕“新年计划(New Years resolutions)”话题展开,语言输入量多。它是学生对 Section A 中所学知识的巩 固、拓展和提升运用。1a-1b 通过图文匹配和对话练习帮助学生复习谈论自己将 来的打算。1a 中出现的短语是 SectionA 中未出现过的,它们为后

2、面的 1c-1d 的 听力材料的呈现提供了词汇储备。 1c-1d 以“谈论新年计划”为话题展开听力练习, 自然贴切地运用了 1a 中刚学的词组,能让学生进一步体会目标语言在真实语境 中的运用。1e 是一个两人问答活动,学生可以自行组织对话,灵活度较大。 本 课是 Section B 的开篇之课,也是下一课的铺垫和基础。因此,本课在整个单元 中,尤其在 Section B 中地位比较重要,对学生来说,学好本课对于 Section B 后 面的阅读和写作课的学习将起到极大的促进作用。 基于以上分析,本课的整体设计思路如下: 在导入环节,教师通过歌曲 We Wish You A Merry Chri

3、stmas 和介绍自己的近 期打算, 引出“New Years Resolutions”这一主题。 在听前任务中设计了四个活动, 分别是:Watch a video(人机对话引出七个目标短语);Look and say(利用课本 1a 中的图片强化学生的识记); Memory challenge(测试和巩固上述目标语言); Talking time(创设情境练习和运用目标语言)。听中的任务设计了两个: Listen get lots of exercise, eat healthier food, get good grades, learn a foreign language, learn

4、 to play the piano, get on well with my parents What are you going to do next year? Why do you want to do that? How are you going to do that/it? 2. Ability Aims (1) Learn to find and take down key information while listening (2) Learn to talk and write new years resolutions by using the structure of

5、 “be going to do sth”. 3. Emotional Aims Try to make your dream come true and be better in 2018! III. Studying Key and Difficult Points (1) Learn to use the new words and useful expressions. (2) Learn to find and take down key information while listening (3) Learn to talk and write New Years resolut

6、ions by using the structure of “be going to do sth.”. IV. Teaching Procedure Step1 warming-up (3 minutes) 1. Enjoy a song We Wish You A Merry Christmas. 2. Free talk First, introduce the teachers resolutions: In 2018, Im going to: take a trip, read more books, keep healthy. Then lead the students to

7、 talk about their resolutions. Step2 Before listening (10minutes) 1. Watch a video My Students New Years Resolutions and answer the questions: What are they going to do next year? get lots of exercise; eat healthier food; get good grades; learn a foreign language; learn to play the piano; get on wel
