2、观察、实践和思维能力。 教材分析教材分析: : 本课为北京版小学英语五年级下册第二单元第 2 课时，本单元的话题是自然。在本套教 材的三年级下册Unit One Spring is here和四年级上册Unit Seven What is nature？ 出现过自然环境，人与自然的关系等相关话题。 本单元第一课时主要围绕植物的各部分英文名称展开； 本课关注植物每部分的功能作用， 重点围绕功能句型 What dodo? They进行语言交际；下一课时将围绕植物生长过程中 所需条件进行探索。基于对教材的整体解读，在教材的处理上我做了以下尝试: 一、优化整合教材: 1. 对比根与树干的作用， 将 l
3、isten,look,and learn 部分中树干的作用放在对话中进行； 2. 通过整合 lesson14 Can you do 环节的拓展阅读，并结合动手实验，深入探索茎的功 能作用，培养学生学科综合实践能力和科学探索精神，使学生通过做实验体验理解自然 知识。 二、单元整体设计，开发课程资源: 1. 借鉴任务型教学途径的理念，设计以植物乐园的神奇之旅为单元教学背景,学生们以 成为合格的植物乐园志愿者为任务驱动贯穿单元整体设计活动。 2. 我通过自制虚拟卡通人物 Mr.Plant 作为任务引导，加上生动直观的信息技术辅助教 学，充分激发学生学习兴趣。 学情分析学情分析: : 本课的授课对象为
4、五年级学生，在学习本课之前，学生已掌握植物各部分英文名称。植 物各部分功能作用在三年级科学教材中也有所涉及，但通过课前调研了解到 80%的学生不能 系统、正确地介绍植物每部分作用。学生对本课的内容理解不是问题，重点为语言表达能力 与实践能力的训练。 因此本课将引导学生回顾已知的科学知识与生活经验，以任务为驱动，学生通过学习、 讲解植物达到语言的运用。将拓展阅读与动手实践相结合，激发学生的好奇心，培养科学探 索精神。 教学目标教学目标 教学目标教学目标: : 1. 能理解、朗读对话内容。 2. 能运用 make seeds, make food, grow up to be, hold the
