3、与结果状语从句之间的句式转换。 三、教学准备三、教学准备 教学课件、多媒体等。 四、教学过程四、教学过程 Step I Warming-up 1. Free talk. Present some questions and then have a free talk with Ss: In thirty years time, Questions: What will you do? Where will you live? Will you be rich or poor? Will you have an expensive car? How many children will you

4、have? Will you be handsome / pretty? 2. Show some pictures and ask Ss to use “will” to describe these pictures. e.g. On Sunday she will listen to the music. 【设计意图】通过畅想 30 年后的生活,使学生迅速进入听课状态,调节课堂氛围。通过看 图练习语句,为本单元的主题做好了充分的铺垫,有利于更好地进入下面的阅读教学。 Step II Pre-reading Teach Ss some new words by some pictures.

5、 【设计意图】让学生掌握相关单词,有利于更好地进入下面的阅读教学。 Activity 1 Show the four pictures and then ask Ss to describe what they can see. They can use the words and expression from the box. 【设计意图】通过让学生描述图片,提前感知阅读材料的背景知识,为接下来的阅读活动做 准备。 Step III While-reading Activity 2 Ask Ss to read the passage and match the pictures in A

6、ctivity 1 with the paragraphs. Activity 3 1. Fast reading. Ask Ss to read the passage quickly and then finish Activity 3. 2. Careful reading. (1) Ask Ss to read Para. A and fill in the blanks. Activity 6 Ask Ss to finish Activity 6 alone. Then, check the answers together. 【设计意图】通过相关练习强化词汇,加深对词汇的理解。 Language points Ask Ss to read th

11、e passage and find out what they cant understand. Then explain them in the class. 1. The sea level will rise as well. 海平面也会升高。 句中的 as well 表示“也,又”,常用于肯定句末尾。 e.g. She can dance, and sing songs as well. 她既会跳舞,也会唱歌。 also 意为“也”,放在 be 动词、助动词、情态动词之后,行为动词之前。 too 意为“也”,放在肯定句句末。 either 意为“也”,放在否定句句末。 2. not

12、only over land, but also over the sea or even into space. 不仅是在陆地上空飞行,而 且还可以飞到海上甚至进入太空。 not onlybut also 意思是“不仅而且”。若连接两个并列成分作主语,其谓语通常 与靠近的主语保持一致,称为就近原则。例如: e.g. Not only the students but also the teacher likes the sea. 3. Working hours will be short so people will have long holidays. (1) 该句的主语是动名词短语

13、working hours,当动名词短语做主语时,谓语动词要用单数。 e.g. Playing basketball is my favourite sport. 打篮球是我最喜爱的运动。 (2) 句中的 so 是连词,意为“因此,所以”。在词句中连接两个并列的分句构成一个并列 句,前一个分句表示原因,后一个分句表示结果。 e.g. She felt too tired, so she went to bed early. 她感觉太累了,所以很早就睡了。 【设计意图】通过讲解中文章中的重难点,帮助学生更好地掌握相关知识。 Activity 7 Ask Ss to work in pairs a
