Lily is at the zoo. Joy is in the supermarket. Andy is at school. Binbin is in the park. But Yaoyao is in the hospital. 教师可以在唱歌前让学生做“头脑风暴”的活动,有意识地引导他们回忆曾经 学过的有关场所的名词,如:dining room 和 library。 (2) 还可以引导学生观察主情境图的左图,让学生说出更多的场所名词然后板 书在黑板上。 Tips: 教师在正式教学前,要根据自己班级的实际情况,采用各种手段激活学生对场 2 / 5 景名词的记忆,并在口头完成的基础上,将这些单词板书在黑板上,让学生在 音、 形、义等方面较全面地感知英语词汇。 2. 对程度好的学生,在教师的指导下,可以将二年级上册第四单元的歌词里原 来的场所名词,换为其他已学过的场所名词或者本课将要学习的场所名词。 注意:名词与后面的介词搭配要准确。学生对生词只要初步掌握其发音与汉语 意思即可。 3. 本部分热身活动时间控制在 58 分钟为宜,时间不要过长。 4. 在复习与呈现了多个场所名词后,教师引导学生注意本单元的标题“My Neighbourhood” ,并初步让学生了解单词 neighbourhood 的汉语意思,为下一步 的教学做好铺垫。 2. 正式进行 A 项学习。 (1) 呈现 A 项主题图,师生根据主题图进行简单交流和描述,如: T: Look, this is Yaoyaos neighbourhood. What places are there in her neighbourhood? Ss: There is a bookshop, a hospital . T: Oh, yes. There is a bookshop and a hospital. And the restaurant is between the bookshop and the hospital. Across from the restaurant is a supermarket . Tips: 1. 学生接触听力材料之前,教师要通过口头的交流和描述活动,引导学生仔细 地观察主题图,了解语言材料发生的背景,同时教师在这一阶段要有意识地反 复输入生词,让学生借助图片和教师的手势初步感知、理解生词的音与义,为 下面听的活动打基础。 2. 教师在与学生描述主情境图时,由于学生还没学过一些方位词组,教师要通 过对课件中或挂图中场所位置的指引,使学生初步感知这些方位词组的汉语意 思:对于程度一般的学生,应尽量避免在此阶段用到这些方位词组,将学生此 时的注意力集中在场所名词上。 (2) 听前活动。教师可以借助 A 项的图,通过与学生的问答,引导学生对听的 内容进行猜测,如: T: Look at the picture. What can you see in the picture? S1: I can see a school. 3 / 5 S2: I can see a hospital. S6: I can see Yaoyaos home. T: Oh, yes. Yaoyaos home is in the picture. Today, Yaoyaos aunt comes to visit her family. Lets listen to their dialogue. What are they mainly talking about? You can make notes while listening. (3) 播放录音材料,学生在情景中整体感知新语言。 教师提出问题,学生做回答。 T: What is Yaoyao showing her aunt? S1: She is showing her a post office. T: What else? S2: Her school. S3: A restaurant. S4: Her home. T: So Yaoyao is showing her aunt around the neighbourhood. 将单词 neighbourhood 板书在黑板上,下面留出空间,为下一步板书做好准备。 Tip: 本课的引入可以如教学建议 1 和 2 那样,以主情境图的讨论为全课的热身 引入。也可以如教学建议 3 那样,以 A 项听力的听前导入作为全课的导入。教 师可以根据自己的教学设计采用以上任何一种进行导入。 (4) 再次播放录音材料,请学生关注 Yaoyao 和她的姨妈都谈论了社区中的哪些 地方,引出新词汇的学习。 教师提出问题和要求:Whats in the neighbourhood? Listen again and circle the places you hear in the tape on the picture. (5) 学生带着问题再次听录音,并圈出听到的场所名词。 Tip: 如果让学生从听力材料中找出人物谈论的所有地点有一定困难,教师也可 以把谈论每个地点的对话分段分别播放一遍,引导学生注意新词汇。 (6) 核对答案。教师先让学生同桌间互相核对答案,并将听到的场所名词在图 4 / 5 中相应位置上圈出来。然后全班核对答案。 (7) 学习表示地点的新词汇。播放新词汇的原声录音,学生尝试跟读新词汇。 Tip: 学习新词汇时除了要保证足够量的原声输入,教师还要创设一些语言交际 的情景,帮助学生理解和使用新词汇。比如可以提问学生 What can we do in the post office/grocery? Whats your favourite restaurant?等问题。 新词汇学习新词汇学习 restaurant:源自法语,发音与拼写有些难度,教学重点可放在这两方面。近义 词 dining room 可做联想、以旧带新的教学用途:post office 这是个合成名词, 建议作为词块整体教学,辅助记忆;对学习程度好的学生,可将 post 和 office 分别讲解、教学。 bank:这个词的音、形、义都很好掌握,这个词使用频率较高,对学习程度好 的学生可从词汇的同形异词与异义等方面加以引导,增强词汇教学的趣性,多 向性。比如:呈现给学生一个谜语,Whats the poorest bank in the world?谜底: The river bank. grocery:这个词的音与形掌握起来有一定难度,教学可以关注这两点。可用近 义词 shop, supermarket, bookshop 等进行辨析与造句练习,帮助学生记忆、理解、 运用这个单词。 (8) 学习表示方位的词汇最好的教学的方式就是将这些方位词放在一起:用形 象直观的形式,使学生较能运用这些词汇,比如可以借助主题图、教师课前准 备的简易地图,让学生理解方位词的意思;也可以通过手势让学生理解词义; 还可以通过教室中学生可见的物品、设施的相对位置关系,引导学生通过描述 这些物品与设施相对的位置关系,来帮助学生较为集中地接触到这样的词汇与 句型,逐步熟悉其用法。 (9) 对程度好的学生,可以将听力进行修改,加入生词,重新让学生听一遍录 音,让学生在情景中再次体会自己是否真正掌握了刚才所学的词汇。此时有疑 问,可以向教师提出,大家共同讨论、解决,鼓励学生自我检验学习效果。 下列听力文本供参考: Binbins uncle comes to visit his family. Binbin is showing him around the neighbourhood. 5 / 5 Binbin: Look, this is a post office. Our library is next to it. Uncle: Oh, I see. Whats that? Binbin: Thats a grocery fruit and vegetables there. We also have a restaurant in the neighbourhood. We can eat Beijing duck there. Its across from the bank. Uncle: I want to buy some gifts. Is there a supermarket here? Binbin: Yes, sure. It is between the bookshop and the cinema. Tip: 本课的词汇教学,可以放在情景中进行,也可以安排专门的时间对每个单 词进行教学,然后在放入本单元或本课所设定的情景中,再进一步夯实教学成 果。还要考虑 A 项与 B、C 项的教学关系,做出整体设计,不浪费课堂的每分 钟。 B. Look and say. 1. 请学生仔细观察 B 项图片,说说街区中都有哪些场所。也可以通过课件或挂 图呈现图片,并用连线或者画线路图的方式,突出呈现方位关系。可以通过以 下描述帮助学生熟悉街区图,如:The hospital is across from Baiyun Park. Sunday Park is across from the cinema. 2. 鼓励学生造更多的句子,并用到词汇框中的词。学生分两人小组进行造句竞 赛,然后在全班内展示。 3. 学生两人一组进行更高难度的信息差活动。一个学生观察 B 项图片并提问, 另一个学生观察第 76 页图片并回答;提问的学生听完对方的回答后,根据听到 的回答找到每个地点的位置,可以在相应的位置写下单词,或者写首字母。然 后互换角色进行练习。 4. 请学生两人一组在全班展示,并选出表现优秀的小组。 C.
