Lesson 32 一、教学内容及学情分析一、教学内容及学情分析 本课是精通小学英语五年级下册第 6 单元的第 2 个课时。 本单元主要话题是 Sports。纵观整个单元,7 个课时中,涉及了各种体育运动,其中以球类运动的 学习居多。经过前第 1 课时的学习,学生能够正确运用现在进行时的语句“What are you doing?” 、 “Were watching the games.”、“What are they doing?”、“They are playing footballvolleyballbasketball.”

2、、“The girlsboys are playing.”对体育运动 进行提问和回答。体育运动是学生比较熟悉的日常活动,贴近学生的实际生活, 能够激发学生的学习兴趣,增强对体育运动的认知,并在学习的过程中得到情感 的升华。 本课的球类运动与学生的校园生活连接比较紧密, 学生体育课上会做到这些 体育运动,同时,每年的校园运动会也是孩子们津津乐道的话题。可见,学生们 对这个话题是非常感兴趣的, 但是如何正确的应用现在进行时对体育运动进行描 述, 以及球类运动蕴含的文化知识和体育精神, 对学生来说, 是一个考验。 因此, 为了让学生对运动话题感兴趣,并愿意在课堂上说英语,主动思考体育运动的乐 趣和文

3、化,喜欢在课堂上灵活表达,老师寻找了大量音频、视频和图片等素材, 帮助学生加深理解,主动学习,合作探究,大胆表达。 二、二、教学目标教学目标 1.学生通过本课的学习能够:听说读写并能熟练运用以下单词和句子:game, foot(feet), football, basketball, playgroun. Were watching the games. 听、说、认读 词组并能简单运用以下词语和句子: watch the games, play football, play volleyball, play basketball. The boys are playing football.

4、The girls are playing volleyball. The teachers are playing basketball. 2.学生能够辨别和识记字母组合 ere 在英语单词中的读音/e/, 能有节奏地朗读关 于 ere 的歌谣,初步掌握字母组合 ere 的发音规律。 3.学生能够用现在进行时表达“正在做某事” ,如:用“- What are . doing?- . are playing .”进行正确的问答. 4.学生能够熟知世界上主要的体育活动,了解我国标志性的体育项目。了解国际 比较有名的体育运动赛事(如:World Cup),了解我国的球类运动在世界上取得的 成绩以及

5、这项运动所蕴含的体育精神(如:女排精神)。 5.学生能够与其他同学积极配合与合作,敢于用英语表述正在进行的动作,体会 学习英语的乐趣。通过体育运动的学习,学生能够感受到体育精神,了解我国体 育的现状,并增强民族自豪感。 三、三、教学重点:教学重点: 1. 学生能够用“-What are youthey doing?- WereThey are.ing.”、 “ -What are . doing?- . are.ing。.” 询问某些人正在做什么,并回答。 2. 在有语言支架的情况下,用现在进行时进行关于体育运动的多语轮的对话和 在真实语境中进行交际。 四、四、教学难点:教学难点: 1. 单词

6、 volleyball 的发音以及主语是复数的现在进行时对话问答。 2. 由于语言水平有限,对各种体育运动的描述以及体育精神的理解,在表达上 会有一些困难。 五、教学准备:五、教学准备: 1.6 个磁性小白板,上面贴好了六个球类运动的图片:羽毛球,乒乓球,曲棍球, 棒球,橄榄球,板球。这些球类运动图片代表六个小组的名字。 2.金牌、银牌和铜牌的卡片若干张,背面粘好磁条。 3.每组五个句子磁条,介绍各国的球类运动。 4.教学图片 3 张,球类运动图片 12 张,球类运动英文卡片 6 张,实物篮球 1 个。 六、六、教学过程:教学过程: I. Warm up.热身。热身。 1.Sing a son

7、g:Ball games song. 【设计意图】这首歌旋律优美,朗朗上口,其中的球类运动与本节课教学内容相 吻合,既创设了轻松的学习氛围,又为本课的主题学习做了铺垫。 2.Greetings. 3.介绍本课的评价方式:全班分为 6 个球类运动小组,表现好的学生会按回答问 题的先后顺序获得金牌、银牌和铜牌,获得奖牌最多的小组冠军组(Champion group). 4.交代课题,学习四会句子:Were watching the games. T: Today were going to learn lesson 32 of unit 6. Who can read the title for

8、me? S1:Were watching the games.(教师板书四会句子,学生齐读) II. Lead in.导入。导入。 1. 观看球迷观赛的小视频,运用 watch the games 短语进行实际交流。 T:What are they doing? Please watch. S2: Theyre watching the games. T: Lets watch with them, OK? Ss: OK! (观看世界杯宣传片小视频。 ) T: What games are they watching? S3: They are watching the football ga

T: Can you spell “football” S3: OK!F-o-o-t-b-a-l-l.(教师板书四会单词 football) 【设计意图】视频短片贴近运动主题,精彩的画面能抓住学生的好奇心,帮助学 生更好的理解和应用现在进行时进行问答:灵活运用短语 watch the games,巩固 四会单词 football,并为世界杯出场做铺垫。 2. 导入世界杯 World Cup,介绍 2018 俄罗斯世界杯。 T: What is the biggest football game in the world? S4: World Cup. T: Thats right.S

10、uper!Look,whats the date? S: June,14th. June, 15th. T: From June 14th to July 15th,there will be a world cup in Russia. Do you want to watch it? Ss: Yes! T:So first lets learn something about ball games. 【设计意图】通过 2018 年举办的俄罗斯世界杯,为本课创设一个整体的情境, 提高学生在真实语境下的学习兴趣。 III.Presentation and practice.新授与练习。新授与练

11、习。 一、学习 football 单词、词组、句型及相关知识。 1.学习三会句型 The boys are playing football.和四会单词 playground, feet. T: Where are the boys? S:They are on the playground. T:Can you spell“playground”? S:p-l-a-y-g-r-o-u-n-d.(教师板书:playground) T: Good. What are the boys doing? S: They are playing football. T: Yes. The boys ar

S: There are 53 players, but only 11 are on the playground. T: The players must wear the helmets(领读) and the protective clothing(领读). T: Why do

17、they wear the helmets and potective clothing? Because its a tough game. People are easy to get hurt. Can you playAmerican football? Ss: No. T:Because you are not tall and strong enough to play it. (3).了解目前世界最好的足球队。 T:Which countries have the best football teams in the world? Do you know? S:Agentina,

18、 Germany. T: Lets look at the world cup champions. Brazil has five champions. Germany has four, and Italy has four, too. So they are the top three in the world. What are the women doing? S: They are playing volleyball. T: Great! Follow me. Play

21、l. 【设计意图】通过观看女排打球视频,帮助学生理解现在进行时,并学习三会短 语和句子。在操练短语的过程中,学会打排球的基本手势。 2.展示女排历年冠军图片, 进一步了解中国女排和女排教练郎平,以及她对女排所 作出的贡献。 T: The Chinese Womens Volleyball Team has won many champions. Lets look. They have four world cup champions and three Olympic champions.Look at this woman. Who is she? S: She is Lang Ping.

24、ese are the Chinese Womens Volleyball Spirit. 4. 学习歌谣:Lets chant. 学生通过唱歌谣,读单词 where 和 there,掌握字母 ere 组合在单词中的发音及规律。 【设计意图】这一环节有三个目的。一、用所学语言总结女排精神,提高学生的 英语口语表达能力和正确的语言运用能力。 二、 女排精神代表着中国的体育精神, 对学生具有很重要的激励作用。三、Where there is a will, there is a way.这句话是 书上歌谣中的一句话,为学习歌谣做了很好的铺垫,使歌谣学习过度自然。 三、学习四会单词 basketba

30、目的:一、与课堂小组分组评价联 系紧密,拓展的球类运动分别是六个小组的名字。二、球类运动与本课的运动主 题以及内容相吻合,学习世界各国的运动,有助于培养学生的国际化意识,促进 国际体育文化的理解,提高学生的人文素养。 2. 世界各国体育运动的拓展应用。 借用名人 Obama 和凯特王妃的图片,应用现在进行时进行问答: (1).师问生答:Who is he? Hes Obama. Whats he doing? Hes playing basketball. (2).生生问答:Work in pairs. Who is she? Shes Princess Kate. Whats she doi

31、ng? Shes playing cricket. (3).生问师答:为学生 Steven 给 Miss Sun 的邮件填空,形成完整邮件内容。 T:Who can ask me a question? S:Who is he? T: He is Steven. He was my student 12 years ago. Whats he doing?
