He dropped out in the fifth grade in primary school. While working as a young peasant, out of a strong passion for literature, he committed himself to a variety of Chinese classics. Mo Yan created many famous literature works. Frogs won him Mao Dun Literature Awards in 2011 and he won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2012. What makes Mo Yan so extraordinary is not only his famous works but also his commitment to what he loves.
