Discussion Sho
6、w the theme picture and ask students to work in groups of four and discuss the questions of the Opening page. Ask the following questions to help students think further on the topic: 1) What is shown in the picture? 2) How many musical instruments in the picture do you know? 3) What kind of music do
7、 you think they are playing? 4) What do you think of classical music? 5)Have you been to a live symphony performance? What is it like? Play some short clips of music videos representative of different cultures. Invite some students to describe their feelings about the music. Ask students to think ab
8、out and explain the quote. Step 2 Listening 1. Leading in Have a discussion about common musical types with students by asking the following questions: 1) What type of music do you know? 2) What is your favorite type of music? Ask students to look at the photos in Activity 2 and answer the question
