Today We have two groups, this is group 1 and that is group 2, we are going to PK with each other to get more stickers. Are you ready? OK, lets go. Step 2: Play a game At first, lets play a game Yes or No. Just listen to the questions, say Yes and hands up if it is right; say No and hands down if it is wrong. a.Im Miss Jiang. Show the clothes cards which they have learned and say: I have some clothes cards. you must answer my question and choose one of them. Practise the conversation: What do you wear? I wear Step 4: New words Teach the new words: coat, shirt, T-shirt, sweater, jeans, shoes in following ways. 1. Look at the picture and try to pronounce the words in pairs for a few minutes , who can try? Ask more pupils to read this word without judging. 2. Then listen to the tape in order to check their pronunciation and repeat the word. 3. Encourage the pupils to read this word as loudly as possible, have several pupils show their pronunciation. 4. Understand the meaning of these words by the cards, material objects and PPT. 5. Practise these words with the conversation: What do you wear? I wear Pay attention to shoes and jeans. Can we say I wear a jeans ? or I wear a shoes? No, we cant. We can see I wear jeans or I wear shoes. 6. Play a game. Hold the clothes cards, let them face to me, so the pupils cant see the 4 cards. Then ask them what do you wear, they should guess the clothes and answer the question. If one of them can guess the card he or she can get that card. 7. Lets chant. Chant the following sentences with music. What do you wear? I wear a shirt. What do you wear? I wear a T-shirt. What do you wear? I wear a coat. What do you wear? I wear a sweater. What do you wear? I wear jeans. What do you wear? I wear shoes. Step 5: Talk about four seasons 1. Show the PPT of spring and ask them: What season is it? ( It is spring.) Hows the weather in spring? ( It is warm.) What do you wear in spring? ( I wear a shirt and trousers.) 2. Then show them the PPT of the test. It is a chant about spring. Spring is coming. Its getting warm. We wear shirts and trousers. 3. Chant these sentences for them with music. I will chant for several time till they can chant with me. 4. Work in groups to talk about the weather and clothes of the other seasons in order to 5 make up their own chants. They can work like this: one of them to ask the questions, one of them to answer them , one of them to write down the key words, one of them to make up the chant. Give them some help if they need. Step 6: Show time 1. Encourage the pupils to show their chant. Ask every group to chant in the front of the classroom. Give them a sticker. 2. Ask the pupils who has word cards to show their chant by oneself. 3.
