Unit 2 Lesson 3 Seasons and Culture 教学设计 1、教学目标 1、帮助学生了解西方传统节日复活节,发展听,说,读能力; 2、能听会说本课词汇,做到发音准确,能理解词义; 3、能理解并应用句型 What do/does .need ? 以及回答; 4、通过复活节文化的学习,了解中西方文化差异,让学生尊重不 同的文化习俗。 2、学情分析 五年级一班学生共 35 人,虽然接触英语二年多了,有了一定的 基础,但两极分化太严重,只有少部分学生语言能力较强,善学善 用。大多数学生基础不太好,只能勉强完成教学任务。所以在设计 上,我融入了视频活动、漂亮的图片等。采用分组,分男女声,个 别朗读比赛,给课堂营造轻松活跃的氛围,激发他们的学习兴趣, 让他们在快乐中完成目标任务。 3、教学重,难点 1、本课词汇,做到发音准确,语调自然,并能理解运用 “need”有关的句型; 2、学习复活节文化,并能回答文中提出的问题。 四 教学准备 复活节课件、单词卡片、录音机磁带、黑板贴等。 五 教学过程 Step 1: Greetings and Free talk Warm up :Quick guess and say “What festival?” The Duanwu Festival.Christmas Day Step 2: New lesson There are so many beautiful Easter eggs. Ask: what festivlal ? Ps: Easter Listen carefully and try reading the text. (1) Learn Part one and answer the questionsl? (1) Is Easter a new or an old festival ? (2) What did it used to do ? (3) What are the symbols of Easter? (2) Learn Part two in same way and answer. (1) What didnt children do at Easter in Birtain ? (2) Where is closed ? (3) What do people give to their friends? (4) What are Easter eggs usually made of? (3) Lets race (1) Boys or girls reading (2) Work in groups (3) Individual reading. Step 4: Read again the text and circle T or F (1) Easter is a new festival T F (2) Eggs and chicks are the symbols of new life. T F (3) In Britain , children have to go to school at Easter T F (4) People give chocolates and eggs to their friends. T F Step 5: Homework (1) Introduce Easter culture to your family; (2) Review what you have leaned of Easter; (3) Make an Easter egg at home .
