Practice: Homework: 1、Read the text .(朗 读课文) 2、Please make a phone call and invite your friends to some things.(用电话邀请 你的朋友) Lesson1 Coming to My Party My teaching content today is the second period of lesson 1 of English this way, Book 5. Now, Ill explain the lesson from aspects. Firstly, lets focus on the analysis of teaching content. The lesson includes two parts: new words and lets talk. Let Ss know the new words: bed / room/bedroom/TV/chair bookshelf.“This is .speaking / birthday party / Would you like.? ”. So, I set the following aims. Aims on knowledge. To enable the Ss understand and speak: “This is .speaking / birthday party / Would you like.? ”. Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situation. Aims on ability. Ss can read and remember the words: This is .speaking / birthday party / Would you like.? Train the Ss abilities of communication thats find the own something in English. Aims on emotion. To foster Ss consciousness of good cooperation and proper competition. To lead Ss to show their bedroom to others. Key points of this lesson. To help Ss read and understand the new words and texts. To help and enable Ss to study in groups and cooperate skillfully. To develop Ss interest in English. Difficult points. The pronunciation of bookshelf/ chair/ desk To make sure that Ss can use “There is” and answer it. Teaching method. As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson, Ill mainly use “Task-based teaching method”. Ill let Ss in the real situations to practice English , getting a better understanding of key structure of the dialogue. Ill arrange 4 kinds of activities :talk guess matching and finding in this lesson ,word cards , PPT be needed. Teaching procedures. Step1.Warm-up After greeting with the Ss , Ill begin the class by doing a warming- up. Step2.Presentation and learning. 1.Present words. (1) Ill show some pictures and let them talk about: whats this? Ill take them read it one by one. At the same time , a picture of a desk and word on the PPT. Teach the words more times. Make sure they can say it correctly. Then let Ss read the all words and pay attention to their pronunciation. (2) Organize the student finish leading paper and check the answer in group. (3) Present the sentences and make a situation to practice new words. (4) Work in pairs and talk about their own bedroom. Lead she or he to answer:“There is a desk.” “There is a bookshelf.” Then show my own room to my students and introduce it with PPT. Step3: listening and reading. Present the picture of this lesson. Look at it and listen after listening. Ill ask : How do you read this word?” and translate the sentences. Step4: Development. Make their own dialogues. In this step ,Ill give Ss a free space to show their abilities. The activity is to develop Ss ability of communicate, and also ,their ability of cooperation will be developed. Step5: Conclusion and homework. Recite this dialogue to your parents. Ss practice their dialogues with classmates. Summary. East or West , Home is Best!
