Greetings and free talk Step1 Warm-up Go up to some students and talk to them like this: T: Good morning. Ss: Good morning. T : Hello whats your name？ S1: My name is. T: Nice to meet you S1：Nice to meet you, too. T: What grade are you in？ S2：I am in grade. T： Are you in Class .？ S3：Yes, I am. No, Im not. 2. Revision A: Teacher shows the cards and speaks the numbers with students together. B: Competition: Teacher speaks and lets the students show the right numbers . One half will be Tom and the other will be Eve. Let the Ss practice the dialogue several times .Then change roles and practice the dialogue again. 3. Drill in pairs, let Ss practice the dialogue with their partners. Step5 Practice Ask some pairs to come to the front and act out the dialogue.
