- 1 - 季节类单词教学设计案例季节类单词教学设计案例 一、背景介绍 1.教材分析:本课选自重大版小学英语五年级下册教材。本教材一共五个 单元,每个单元分为六个课时。本次教学内容为 Unit3 Seasons of a year .lesson 1 第一课时. 本课时主要是围绕四季气候的英语词语,让学会用英语 简单描述四季的气候特征。 2.学情分析:教学对象为小学五年级的学生,该年龄段的学生生性好奇心 和表现欲强。从大的方面来说,本校五年级一班的同学整体水平比较平均,学 习气氛浓厚,大部分同学学习习惯良好,学习积极性高,能较好地完成学习任 务。但不足的地方就是部分学生学习比较浮躁,两极分化的现象比较突出。本 着这样的学情,本节课主要采用合作型学习法和任务型学习法。两者在构建以 学生为主体的英语课堂中扮演着重要角色。小学英语教学借助合作学习这一形 式,辅以有效的教学手段,可以开发学生丰富的想象力,促进学生语言交流的 欲望,打破学生对语言学习的心理障碍,保持对英语学习的持久兴趣,能提高 整个英语课堂的教学实效。 3.研究目的:选用这堂课是因为季节这一话题与我们的生活息息相关。学 习了本节课以后,孩子们可以利用所学的知识描述自己喜欢的季节和天气。本 节课我利用直观性教具、简笔画、游戏、歌谣、竞争机制和现代的教学手段来 提高对话教学的有效性。取得了较明显的教学效果。本堂课是我所上的一堂公 开课课,对学生们来说是新授课,我所采用的教学方法是任务型教学法。 2、情景描述 像往常一样,在完成了“before class” (课前准备)的组长领读课文任务后, 我开始了本堂的课程教学: Step 1. Warm up:(热身热身) T: Good morning, everyone! Ss stand up and say : Good morning, Aileen! T:Nice to see you! Ss: Nice to see you,too! T:What day is it today? Ss: Its Wednesday . T: Whats the weather like today? Ss: Its sunny. (每日复习巩固星期与天气, 加强学生对旧知的记忆。) T: How are you today? Ss: Im fine,thank you .And you ? - 2 - T: Im very happy. Are you happy? Ss: Yes. T: All right.lets sing a happy song together (设计意图:通过唱英语歌曲 Sunny day,激发学生学习兴趣,活跃课堂氛 围) Step 2. Presentation:(呈现)(呈现) T: Today we will learn something about seasons, and after the class you should know the five words, important sentences and you can use what you have learned to describle your favourite season.(通过 PPT 展示本课时任务目标,让学生明确本节 课的内容) T: Ok, Can you guess what am I doing?我在黑板上画出一棵树干和一只小鸟。 Ss: You are drawing a picture. T: Yes, you are right. And whats this? Ss:Its a bird. T: what is the bird doing ? can you guess? (运用多谋体播放 PPT.) T: listen, the bird is singing ,the grass is turning green. Spring is coming.(在黑 板上用准备的教具贴出春天的场景) (老师带读:学生齐读、分组朗读和单个朗读,突破单词的音。同时呈现 现单词卡片,让学生认读卡片,突破单词的形。) T: Do you like spring ? Ss: Yes , I do. T : If you want to know someones favourite season,you can say”Which season do you like best?”出示重点句型。You should answer “ I like spring best.”教读句型 并操练。 T: Whats the weather like in spring? Ss: its warm and sunny. T: What can you do in spring? S1: I can fly a kite. S2: I can ride a bike. S3: I can go to the park. (设计意图:通过师生之间的自由对话,让孩子们畅所欲言在春天自己可以 做的事情,对表现好的同学实行加分的评价方式。从试着表达到想要去表达。 - 3 - 不但让孩子们表达了生活中息息相关的事,也对以前学的知识起到一个复习巩 固的作用。) T: After spring, there will be more leaves on the tree. And the sun is shining in the sky . the summer is cominmg.把黑板上的教具贴上,出现夏天的场景。 (操练单词:high and low voice 游戏。) T: Do you like summer ? Ss: Yes , I do. T : Which season do you like best? Ss: I like summer best. T: Whats the weather like in summer? Ss: Its hot. T: What can you do in summer? S1: I can go swimming. S2: I can eat ice creams. T: (边说边翻转黑板上的教具,出现秋天的场景)After summer, The leaves and the grass are turning yellow ,and some leaves fall down from the tree. the autumn is cominmg. (操练单词:touch and say 游戏。) T: Do you like autumn ? Ss: Yes , I do. T : Which season do you like best? Ss: I like autumn best. T: Whats the weather like in autumn? Ss: Its cool. T: What can you do in autumn? S1: I can pick up apples. S2: I can . T: (边说边翻转黑板上的教具,出现冬天的场景)After autumn, The leaves are all falling down from the tree.The whole world become white, and we can make a snowman.the winter is cominmg. (操练单词:整体读 分组读 单个检测 ) T: Do you like winter ? Ss: Yes , I do. T : Which season do you like best? - 4 - Ss: I like winter best. T: Whats the weather like in winter? Ss: Its cold. T: What can you do in winter? S1: I can make a snowman. S2: I can go skating. Step 3. Practice:(操练操练) T: we have learned the seasons ,next lets chant together.播放 rap 音乐 Yo yo ,check it out, I say ready you say go. Ready(go), Ready(go). Yo yo ,check it out, I say spring you say warm. spring(warm), spring(warm). Yo yo ,check it out, I say summer you say hot. summer (hot), summer (hot). Yo yo ,check it out, I say autumn you say cool. autumn (cool), autumn (cool). Yo yo ,check it out, I say winter you say cold. winter (cold), winter (cold). (设计意图:使用充满律动的 rap 操练,让学生由静到动的一个转变,吸引他 们的注意力,并激活学生“想动、想说”的欲望。) Step 4. Production:(检测检测) T: Now, lets open the book and turn to page 23.part2 listen and number. T: all right, lets check the answer. (设计意图:让学生回归课本,听力练习,检测孩子们听音辩词能力。也 让孩子们从刚才激情的 chant 中安静下来。) T: Which season do you like best? S1:I like(spring/summer/autumn/winter) best. T:Why? S2:Because (I can ) T: Now,work in pairs. Ask your partner about his favorite season and why. (先在老师的引导下,根据自己的实际情况操练句子。再与同伴的练习中灵 活运用。) T:Next, pair work. You should use the sentences to describle your favourite season. I give you 3minutes and then some of you can show us. (设计意图:同伴之间操练对话,可自己设置情景表演。激发学生与他人的 - 5 - 合作意识以及综合运用语言的能力。) Step 5. Summary:(总结总结) T: Everybody, I will show you some beautiful pictures and you can tell me which season is it.(PPT 展示优美的四季图片,再次复习总结新词。) T: all the seasons are beautiful.so we should protect our earth and value our life so that we can enjoy seasons! Enjoy happiness! (设计意图:情感教育,让孩子们懂得保护环境,保护大自然,才能尽情享受美 丽的四季、享受生活。) Step 6. Homework(作业作业): 选择适合你的作业: 1. Talk about your favourite season with your parents. 回家后给爸爸妈妈说一说你最喜欢的季节。 2. Write a thinking map of your favourite season. And then make a poster. 写下你“最喜欢的季节”的思维导图 ,并制作成英文小报。 (设计意图:分层作业的设计,可满足不同层次学生发展的需要。) 3、教学设想教学设想 1.案例概要 我首先用多媒体播放英语儿歌 sunny day.用歌曲的形式让孩子们融入英语课 堂的氛围中。在呈现单词的环节以自制教具展示一年四季特征的变换展现新单 词 spring summer autumn winter season,激发学生兴趣和好奇心,为新知呈现 做好导入铺垫。在吸引孩子眼球的同时也向孩子们展现四季的颜色和特征。操 练单词环节本着词不离句的原则,用一般疑问句 Do you like spring? 引出本课 主题句 Which season do you like best? 基于对话教学的整体性和情景性原则,在 练习对话时从机械操练到意义操练,我设计完整的话轮让学生练习而不仅仅只 是操练课文的重点句型,而且学生可根据自己的真实情况对话,让学生从试着 表达到想要去表达,激发他们的学习兴趣。之后,在整体练习环节通过设计一 个带有 rap 韵律的 chant,把所学的新内容加入里面操练,吸引学生的注意力。 - 6 - 之后设计一个听力活动,训练孩子的听音辩词能力。随后在小组合作操练并表 演对话环节,先和学生一起回忆季节、天气以及相应活动。有一定总结回忆的 基础上让孩子们自己操练并创编对话,激发学生的创造性思维。最后出示很多 漂亮的季节图片,引导学生热爱自然、热爱生活。 案例教学的注意事项 (1) 本堂课教学目标 a.语言知识目标:掌握四会单词:spring summer autumn winter season ,句型: Which season do you like best? I likebest. What can you do in summer? I can go swimming in summer. b.语言技能目标:能够用所学季节类单词,表达自己最喜爱的季节并能向他人 询问。 c.情感态度目标:引导学生热爱自然、热爱生活,学会与他人分享,学会与人 合作,增强学生学习英语的兴趣。 d、学习策略目标:培养学生对英语良好的感知能力;明确合作学习的规范,初 步培养学生合作、探究、自主学习的能力。 (2)教学重点 掌握四会单词:spring summer autumn winter season , 句型:Which season do you like best? I likebest. What can you do in summer? I can go swimming in summer. (3)教学难点 根据实际情况拓展性回答:“why do you like summer?”“Because its hot and I can swim.” - 7 - 3.板书设计: 4.教学建议 建议在丰富单词教学趣味性的同时,注重对话教学的主体性与活动性。从 以教师为主的教学中解脱出来,充分体现学生的主体地位和主动参与,通过创 设良好的语言环境和实践机会,使学生通过小组合作、个人体验、感知,实践 参与交流,培养语感。 5.建议讨论的问题 如何在保证教学趣味性基础上,积极的给学生创新的教学情景进行意义操 练。 4、教学反思、研究 1.反思与回顾 .本堂课的引入和呈现部分新颖、到位,以一棵树的四季变化贯穿整个课 堂,充分激发了学生的好奇心和求知欲;对话操练在趣味性的基础上贴近自身 需要,让学生们学有所乐,学有所用;整堂课从引入部分到检测部分设计合理, 衔接自然。 .本堂课也存在着一些问题:在小组合作学习方面不够,有点基于形式。 没能更好地培养学生的自主学习能力。 2. 学生访谈 问:你今天学到了什么呀?感觉这节课怎么样啊? - 8 - 学生甲答:今天这节课很有趣,我会说季节的单词了,我也会问别人: Which season do you like best? 学生乙答:老师你做的教具好漂亮啊,我也喜欢那个 chant, yo yo ,check it out,I say spring you say warm。 3.课后记 2011 年版义务教育英语课程标准明确指出:义务教育阶段的英语课程应面 向全体学生,体现以学生为主体的思想,在教学目标、教学内容、教学过程、 教学评价和资源的利用与开发等方面都应考虑全体学生的发展需求;英语课程 应成为学生在教师指导下主动构建知识、发展技能、拓展视野、活跃思维、展 现个性的过程;英语课程应关注语言学习者的不同特点和个体差异,最大限度 满足个体需求以求获得最大化的整体教学效益。 本堂课的目标明确,学生积极发言,课堂氛围活跃。孩子们在老师的引导 下积极发散思维。在对话操练上也让孩子从敢说、想说、多说到会说。跟自己 生活息息相关的话题孩子们都比较感兴趣去学习。但课堂上应给更多的时间给 学生自主学习、合作学习。让他们自己去发现四季、描述四季,多多培养他们 的自主学习能力和创新思维。不要仅仅是让学生在课堂中掌握几个单词或者几 个句子,更重要的是引导学生在过程中体验生活、交流情感、学习实践,从而 提高素养、启迪智慧。 Unit 3 Seasons of a year 课时目标: Words: spring summer autumn winter season Sentences: Which season do you like best?
