2、g, video, letter cards and the English alphabets. Teaching procedures: Step 1:Warming-up 1. Greetings. 2. Say “Hello” to each other. Eg: How are you? Im fine, thank you. Nice to meet youect. Step 2: Revision of Unit 1-4 1.Review the patterns drills of Unit 1 1) Have a dialogue.(Show it on the screen

3、.) Gogo: Hello! Tony: Hi! G: Im Gogo. Whats your name ? T: Im Tony. G: Nice to meet you, Tony. T: Nice to meet you, Gogo. G: Goodbye. T: Bye. 2)Big groups ask and answer. 3) Practice in pairs. 4)Ask the pupils to come up and act out the dialogue. 5)Sing a song” Whats your name?” 2.Review the words a

4、nd patterns drills of Unit 2 1) Teacher use the real objects, ppt, then play the guessing game: draws the 2 pictures of “a pencil, a book, a ruler, a desk, a chair, a table” to ask and answer with the pupils. Eg: T: Whats this?P: Its a pencil/ book, ruler, desk, chair, table. 2) Open the books at P1

5、3 and practice in pairs. 3)Lets chant.(First following the video, then look at the pictures drawn by the teacher.) 3.Review the words and patterns drills of Unit 3 1) Use the words and patterns drills above to elicit the sentence patterns: Is this a _? Yes, it is./No, it isnt. Its a _. 2) Look at th

Its a _. 4.Review the words and patterns drills of Unit 4 1) Use the pictures cards review Words: grandfather,grandmother, father, mother, brother, sister, friend Pattern drills: Whos he/she? 7、 2)Point to a boy/girl to ask: Whos he/she? Hes/Shes _. 3) Do a guessing game.(ppt. Use the photos of the pupils in the class, first show pictures of Tony, Jenny, Meiyangyang, Yaoming.)
